Texture in sound refers to how musical layers — melodic, rhythmic, and harmonic — are combined and interact within a piece to create its overall quality, feel, and character.

It's always about the mixing in life. In the few semesters of chemistry I studied, I already learned how to mix molecules and substances. But not only in chemistry it is important to mix different things to get harder, stronger or other variants. Also with us humans it is important to mix, to meet each other and to let something completely different and new emerge. 
We mix different kinds of vegetables and spices to get highly delicate food. We mix different materials to get designer clothes. We mix fruits for smoothies. We mix raw materials to obtain the most advanced technology. We mix colors for the greatest works of art in the world. And we mix different frequencies to create the best music in the world. 
Only by mixing can we create diversity and individuality. Only when we break down the borders between black and white and move in the grey zone it becomes exciting. Only by mixing can we achieve things that have never been there before.
