Neothrope, is a 38-year-old Drum&Bass DJ / Producer from Maribor, Slovenia,
now located in Oldenburg, Germany.
2003, in the beginning of his career, Neothrope had an other alias called "The Koncept",
known for Technoid drum&bass. Had releases on labels like Wayside Recordings, Mindocracy and played on the sides of The Panacea, Counterstrike, Matrix, Implant, etc., club appearances in Germany, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia and founded Modular Carnage Rec. in 2013.
Having releases on PRSPCT, Abducted, Modular Carnage, Covet, BrainRave, Tesseract, Dissected Culture, Melting Pot, Shadow Net, Critical Bass, Non Human, Toxic Loud and had
gigs on the sides of Black Sun Empire, Zardonic, Thrasher, Adi-J, Sinistah, Dj Hidden, Limewax, Agressor Bunx, Konquest & Beast Jane, The Upbeats, Sindicate, Markoman, Pythius, Typecell, Future Prophecies, Tamas, Cooh, Noisia, Multiplex, Icicle, Gridlok, Phace, TeeBee, Stonx, Karimooo, Graved, Seriouz and more.

The live act of Neothrope is full of energy, slapping snares, hard and groovy rhythms, evolving and deep soundscapes, which best describes his sound and goal of the performance.

Also he is a member of Sonitus Berlin, resident Dj & graphic designer. His graphic design talents are as well much respected by labels like Sinuous, Inception:Audio, Tesseract, MCR, Dispatch, Druid as well as artists like Nickbee, Adi-J, Graved, Abstract Vision, Incus [ Bytecode ], Rettir, Icarus & Rain, Klono, Evizon, Solaris and a bunch more.

Currently his new tracks, EP’s, Remix’s and Collab’s coming out on Warlock Audio, Ninth Gate Audio, Boomslang, Renegade Hardware, The Konklave, Addictive Records, Inception:Audio and sure on other labels as well.

Neothrope, who finds inspiration in a variety of musical genres, skillfully combines drum & bass intensity and electronic music elements. As a result, the music defies expectations for the genre and is simultaneously inventive and thrilling.
Neothrope's music is dynamic and unique, with complex rhythms, throbbing basslines, slapping snares and captivating synthesizer work.
