Was Sidechain Compression used because it sounds like everything is 'ducking' when the Kickdrum hits.  It is really distracting.

Yeah, it sounds like the Sub is ducking everytime the KD hits.  I wish the Mixdown was situated differently so that the Sub would be left alone when the KD is sounding at the same time.  That's just my feedback.  The tune is amaaaaaazing!
