Allemande

This is the slow-beat version of allemande tanz. It's a 111 bpm version with lots of EQ, Compression, and Sitechane to make all sounds stand up more by themself. This is the last version of the allemande project. You can hear the process if you start with allemande you get the analog feeling. The next allemande tantz is the condensed electronic version but with natural sounds.  The final version of this journey is allemande slow-beat where we polished every sound individually.

We recorded this music in El Retamal - La Gomera. Its a composition of nature, analog music, and electronic elements we have created in the last days of the *corona quarantine* and we like to give it to you all now!

This track got inspired by some Wooden Frogs a Singing Bowl and Heikos Saz. All sounds got recorded in La Gomera during the Corona Quarantine in the last days.

Chinguarime in Percussion

This is a recording of a very special sounding HandPan

I was lucky to record this HandPan in La Palma in 2019. This is the first time in my life I play HandPan and I found this recording last week.

I decided to create a track from it and all you hear is the chopped and sliced recording I did in La Palma. Of course, manipulated with effects and filters and with a topic of Tabla and other Percussion I played on top and around it :)

HandPaned

HandPan meets Flute and Tabla and Seeds of nature. Born from the flowers of the summer. Welcoming the autumn with its shaking and rassling sounds from drying leaves and flowers building their seeds, creating natural rattlers.

So yah. Let us welcome the autumn with all the magic it has to offer.

Floating Harmonies

This track starts with the Flamboyan Checker and my Tabla. I chopped lots of sounds with the Maschine. Pieces from Michaels Violin and then I played on the pads the most parts.

This DJ set (original composition) was the basis for our very first live performance at the Pan-O-Rama 2022 in La Gomera.

Quite by chance, we just rediscovered this gem from 2020 - created from a live session on the violin. More precisely, a violin with 14" inch viola strings.

Por Las Brumas

This track got recorded at Indra's place.  

We gave Triana a microphone, set up the Maschine and enjoyed a spontaneous overdub recording session. Later in the evening, we added some trip-hop beats and that was it. Listening to the material some days after, we got hooked and resumed work together. Pablo contributed a poem that he had recently written. We mixed it all together with some tabla and other percussions such as the flamboyant pod shaker. The sounds and effects were mostly recorded on the island of La Gomera. Mainly insects that got pitched down, which creates the whale-like sound.

October Sonne

It was a great end of the summer with wonderful sessions in my garden. This track is a rework of some recordings I did together with Martin W. Best and Micha. Enjoy it !

Affirmation

This track got inspired by my trip to La Gomera with Twin. We spend several days traveling by Van and Ferry to La Gomera, and I recorded sounds on the way.  Most of the sounds in this track are analog recorded and arranged later.

It is a song made by sounds of La Gomera. For example, you can hear the rattling from the shaker tree, sounds of insects and other animals. 
My Tabla creates the bass and the most drumming. You can also hear the harmonic Sansula and Xylophone. Michael alias Jagger plays the Flute and Violine. Different sounds are created with any instruments, which are manipulated with effects. The melody in the middle for example which sounds like whales is a down-pitched Violine.

It's my first song from sounds recorded in La Gomera, and more will come! Huge Thanks to Twin and Michael for their help and creative input.

This is the second part of the recording session "Lach Gomera Geige" and was recorded in La Gomera Vizcaina.

This chillout song was recorded with 172 bpm in La Gomera Vizcaina. Most of the samples is played by the guitar (Thomas), and I have resampled all. If you sit in the evening at the Babybeatch you will know Thomas from playing nice guitar on one of the banks there. The sounds around the Guitar are insects with a very high tone. Its nearly pain in the ear to hear this insect. Most of the time you can hear them in El Retermal and Vizcaina. It becomes this nice ough sound after we pitch them down.

Micha zur Freiheit

This track was recorded in El Retamal La Gomera. I got inspired by the Ecstatic dance session with Celest and Abu-id. I decided to build a track for the purpose of a short ecstatic dance trip.

It's now nearly 6 weeks ago that I have started to build this track and I'm happy to release the result today.

Like always I got a lot of support and great help form other musicians and sound engineers and I learned a lot during the process. I'm still in the process of learning all and want to thank Siggi for his great feedback and teaching and giving me his knowledge of mixing in Ableton live. Without him, the Kick and Base and Filters would never sound like they do now.

This song was composed by Thomas. What a beautiful guitar playing. Most of the rhythm elements and drum beats were played on his guitar too.

It was end of summer in Germany. The shaker and sounds you can hear, are shells, seeds, grass and other dried organic material.

It was really a beautiful session in Thomas´ house. Just a great moment, magical. That's why we used the same track for an electronic version. A guitar solo version is in progress.

This song is the first Psychedelic Dance music we produced in 2020. It's a 133 BPM dance track! Let us know in the comments if you like us to produce more from this style! We are keen to read your feedback :)

This track got recorded in La Gomera with Thomas, Indra and Sven. 

Allemande is an old classic track and Thomas has interpreted it on the guitar. We jammed together over it. Indra played the Violine and Sven play percussion over it by using a UDU drum an a maschine. Udu are the drums that look like a vase with a second hole in it making this deep base by hitting the hole.

The track itself is quite short and we started loop it with effects to create patterns. Its an abstraction of the original recording thagt you can here in the beginning. Than layer over layer it get more abstract by using effects and digital techiques. The idea was to add extra layers of rythem by mute  the violine and only play it by hittzing a pad on teh maschine. This is what create teh stotter effect.

It was lots of fun and we hope you enjoy it as much.
