Divine Presence

Now the bad will be erased, and the pure and clear will be allowed to shine. 
No more diving into the dark cold whiskey sea.

Remember a rainy day long ago visiting an deserted church. 
I had a small minibar with me in a bag. It was beer, wine and whiskey, enough for a weekend.

It was in the middle of a week such a day people usually do not drink from the well of devil's old poison. It was a moment of calm and inner spiritual peace that was the company in the moment. Could really feel the creator's presence for a moment.

Saw a man rushing to a place for prayer in that church. The man fell down on his knees and sat there for a while. Surely the Lord is the greatest, was a thought that came to one's mind.

Then a group of tourists came marching to see the beautiful old church. Stress entered the room and suddenly it felt like the minibar should be opened. A bottle in the shape of an innocent juice bottle filled with wine was taken out. Headphones with hard rock suddenly washed away the peace that was present for a moment.

Everything became a dance in the dark. Thoughts of a better way had soon faded away. 
Left the church surroundings, a bit dizzy and looked out over a city in motion. Passed a small park with beautiful flowers in many colors that almost seemed to sing a silent song to the creator's honor.

It was a moment of harmony and a feeling of divine presence in the sun under a clear blue sky.

It was a moment of calm and inner spiritual peace that was the company in the moment,

Nothing new under the sun, it is said.

Running to catch up with time is something many people do.
When you look back, you may wonder why you ran.
You can sometimes travel so fast that you miss the entire journey.

Someone has said that even a snail reaches its destination.
Fast and well done, is an equation that rarely goes together.
When you don't think before, you often have to think after.
Time is relative, great thinkers have said.

With just a little more time, everything could be seen.
