They share an affinity for the strange side of house, disco, soul & cosmic sounds. 
They hold down a residency at Beam Me Up, a disco night in Toronto & Montreal, and have had releases on some of their favourite labels like Defected, Nervous, Soundway, GAMM, Soul Clap, Star Creature, Pleasure of Love & Basic Fingers.

@gleddmusic has been a fascinating artist to watch over the last few years. As well as delivering a constant stream of excellent music, he's also clearly a very talented DJ who holds himself to very high standards. His label @saintwaxrecords has been brilliantly curated featuring Tiptoes, Siggatunez, Soulcheeba and many more excellent artists with each release well worth picking up in it's own right.

With a brilliant new EP landing imminently via @bonfidodisques I thought that it was high time that I tracked Gledd down, asked him to step up to the LV decks and had a good chat with him about his career, Saint Wax, the new EP and what he has incoming in 2023.

Flash Atkins is a super hero who had his gravy days in the 80s saving the world with his ability to manipulate sound.  Unfortunately he's fallen on hard times and can be spotted in the less salubrious parts of London, Manchester and West Yorkshire often stoned or drunk on borrowed money and time.

To make ends meet he uses his special powers to remix and make deep disco music for Paper Recordings.

Let’s hope it gets him back on track.
