The first song I started of the three, and I think it definitely set the tone for what I wanted my next project to be. I don't think I even fully envisioned this song being motorsport-themed at first (despite the fact I settled upon the name TIME TRIALS pretty early on) until my friend suggested I sample some car sounds. I envision this song as encompassing a high-stakes race of some sort, with Group B style crowds taking over the sidelines, obstacles and jumps that would probably be illegal in any modern-day regulated motorsport, and (of course) unlimited access to nitrous oxide. Let's see how fast these cars can go.

Originally, this was an attempt to mimic the Splatoon 3 OST style, and the lead had a fast-moving filter LFO. I revisited it after conceptualizing this EP and turned it into its own thing, as I realized it would work great as an intro track. Here, I picture cheering, rowdy crowds and a camera panning across a starting line with cars beginning to line up for the race.
