Slam bring light to their Paragraph imprint with the floor-shattering 'Cadence' release. 

'Cadence' is as tough and as noisy as you'll find Slam today. Sitting on the outskirts of Techno, the Glaswegian pair push the envelope of their style and production, utilising a grit they have worked on for over twenty years.

The deeper of the two tracks ,'Remain', still packs a punch. While preserving the rumbling low-end that binds 'Cadence' together, 'Remain' bears a fathomless form that allows that dizzying, cosmos moment in longer sets. 

This powerful two tracker from Slam is a welcome return for Paragraph.

When you're talking about techno, few names have been innovating and evolving as much as Robert Hood. When he's not running things over at M-Plant, he can be found touring the festival circuit with his live show and releasing tonnes of fresh new material.

Today we concentrate on his more melodic alias and under the name Floorplan, Hood has released a stunning album showcasing a slightly different yet equally strong sound.

A new EP is set to drop featuring two re-edits of tracks that appeared on his Floorplan album 'Paradise'. 'Phobia' and 'Never Grow Old' have been given a special Re-Plant and we have the premiere of the latter.

We've got the premiere of FitzGerald's edit of 'Colt' and the Hotflush affiliate has taken that famous piano riff and thickened it out with heavy bass hits and mystical synths. 

It's a sumptuous edit and sure to bring a smile to the face of anyone who danced their socks off to the original.

In the year 1991 when the techno development was becoming a monster wave there was one record on R&S Records which became a game changer in my life.

I´m writing about "Energy flash" by a young producer from Brooklyn called Joey Beltram! I still get goose bumps when I even think about the night when I heard the track for the first time ever at Mayday in Berlin Weissensee.

Everybody was there, from Sven Väth to Frank de Wulf, from Speedy J to The Hypnotist (god bless you, Caspar). So you can imagine how happy I am now that Joey remixed "The overture" and yesss, again he made a monster tune. Thanx to Christian Smith for realizing this project...

Word gets around about ecstatic nights in an intimate atmosphere in the Heizkeller location of the cultural association Freakadelle. The monthly events held by the club culture collective, which formed in 2011, have long since become known beyond city and state borders, and so, national as well as international guest artists would frequently pay visits to Mozart town in the last years. Following the club members’ wish to maintain relations to the artists beyond the fleeting transience of a night in the club, this release aims at strengthening and cementing these interpersonal ties.
