We continue our ‘Selects’ series and have hand picked three developing artists that have really impressed us with their work.

Hot off his last debut release with is earlier this year. Beatport chart topping Hoodyhoo kicks off this Selects with ‘Ethos’. Fusing melodic undertones, chanting vocals and intricate percussion. Ethos takes you on a creative journey that is bound to get the dance floor moving.
New comer Yahra has been making a solid impact with his DJ sets for our Re:Sound Music & Friends parties. Grabbing the attention of the Anjunadeep team earlier this year with his unreleased remix for Cri. We are happy to have him onboard for his debut release “Courant Number’.

Finishing of this Selects, we welcome another newcomer. Qatar based Deus Deserto has impressed us with his creativity and sound development. Working with vocalist ‘Abul’, ‘Amsy’ is a techno edged floor smash! Delivering on both the Vocal mix and a dub. ‘Amsy’ is a clever fusion of techno energy, glorious effects and melodies. A perfect finish to another solid selects EP.

Audio State [Elevate, Prospect, Legend] is a rising star from Romania who aims to push further the boundaries of techno music.

Sentient Beings is a typical of his talented work with rolling techno beats, pounding drums, big basslines, gliding synths and chords.

No need to give so many descriptions to the electronic music legend Hollen, who made his signature remix to the fantastic original.

And finally, Zafer Atabey made a significant support to the EP with a stylish remix. Zafer heard the original track and fell in love for the first time in a Victor Ruiz livestreaming set and convinced Audio State to make this release from the young and passionate EXTIMA together with a powerful remix adding some fury and passion to the existing heavy sentiments of the original.

DJ Jock is back again on Unrilis for his second solo EP on the imprint called 'Urania' EP.

At the age of 17, DJ Jock from Croatia held down a residency at Pineta Beach Bar. Started warming up for the biggest DJs, he perfected his craft, and got first-hand experience of what made tracks work on the dance floor.

Not only his skills as a DJ which managed to get the attention but also his production skills with a fine-tuned ear for picking out what makes the perfect techno track, his own productions are in hot demand as you can't attend a party without hearing a single DJ Jock track, he has a very rich catalog that succeeded to build over 12 years in the techno scene, many tracks on the likes of Respekt Recordings, Suara, Intec, 1605 and Phobiq. Always gets support from Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, Joseph Capriati, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin and many others.

DJ Jock: 'As always, it was a process of me going to studio and experiment with my gear until I have something. I made Urania like year ago, and the name came when I was watching documentary about Space, where they mention large asteroid 'Urania', named by the Greek muse of astronomy. Lonely Satellite was made one morning when I was playing with my Virus Synth, I was just recording sounds, didn't have an idea where to go with them. Then I found that vocal sample and added the drums and bassline. I was playing a lot these tracks last summer and I was really happy with reaction from crowd'.
