For Pan-Pot's second release on their new imprint they fall nothing short of what you would expect from the infamous duo. 

"Grey Matter" is a stormer made especially for the intense peak time strobe lights of a dark sweaty club. The pulsing stabs and swelling bass in combination with the rolling hi-hats and shakers keep the energy flowing upward. 
Don't let the word grey in the title fool you, this track is more a burning red. Just like the deep ominous vocal says, "We're burning"!

On the flip side is "Substance“ and with this one, Pan-Pot showcase their vast knowledge of what tension can do on the dance floor. From beginning to end, it teases with builds that never quite go over the edge. Constantly increasing, it creates the desire for just a little more while never giving you the satisfaction of a resolution. 

It's a concept that only masters can make work and when it does, it's nothing short of brilliant.

I first gave to “Seeing Through Shadows” @Ricardo Villalobos. He was the only guy who was able to play crazy stuff. Please keep in mind, that this sound was not big at that time, and Ricardo was really far out. 

We were at the Dance Valley Festival, playing the Circoloco stage. Ricardo came to me during his set and said: “I’m going to play your track! Watch @Richie Hawtin’s face!“ He played the tune, and after first chords I saw Rich go to Ricardo. I didn’t really know him at that time. I just saw Ricardo laughing and pointing at me.

Loco Dice - Seeing Through Shadows (Minus)

here is the 1,5 Hour Dj set which I played right after the D-Nox & Beckers live act at the legendary Tribal Tech festival in Curitiba Brasil. The organizers have understood have to create a new kind of festival. Full of surprises, amazing deco, lights, stages and soooo many people and great music. I am very happy that I was part of this massive event. Thank you!

Rinse has been such a great experience, from start to finish, be it at the parties, releasing with the label and, of course, being on the airwaves each month. I want to big up Finn, Keith, Euge, Geenius, Mia, Rat and all the rest of the Rinse crew past and present who have welcomed me into the family! Big love!

For the last show I wanted to do something slightly different, so i've done the full two hours, with no guest and done a kind of History of Hux thing which consists of my musical journey through dance music, from the age of 12. I tried to fit more in, but i just couldn't, but i'm pretty happy with it and all the tracks mean something to me. Some of the mixing at the end is a bit dodge, but fuck it, I was trying to fit more in, sue me. It's got, House, Garage, Old Skool, Jungle, DnB.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did putting it together. Finally, thanks to all the listeners who have tuned in, be it live or on listen again. Hopefully you discovered some new music along the way. I'll see you on the road soon and I'll be back on Rinse for one offs and you might even see my chubby mug at some of the parties!!! :))

Set to build on Afterlife’s mesmerizing club concept that’s striking visual and musical identity has so far showcased at Off Sonar, ADE and Ibiza for a 13-week residency at Space, brand curator’s Tale Of Us have now added an extra dimension to its forward-thinking offering with a podcast series named ‘Afterlife Voyage’. 

Launching with a rare 2 hrs mix from Tale Of Us themselves, Afterlife Voyage 001 provides a unique insight into the duo’s ‘realm of consciousness’ and features a range of unreleased tracks and upcoming Afterlife releases. With names from the Afterlife record label also confirmed to contribute to this latest musical journey – their names yet to be revealed – the launch of the podcast series further emphasizes Tale Of Us’ growing dominance within the global club scene and reiterates Afterlife’s 360 degree exploration of music and the arts.
