Truant is an avenue for exploration of darker sounds, textures, and emotions. It is aspiring to be the journey between dance floor to the atmospheric and esoteric. The second release on TRUANT.J's self-titled label serves two purposes. First, connecting artists from the international Techno scene including British Techno artist JoeFarr, Berlin based artist Krista Bourgeois to local Canadian artists The GOAT and TRUANT.J. Second, providing an outlet for engaging a narrative of pandemic frustration as an overtone to the ever present burdens people experience of day to day life

This is the techno A side to the first record on my new label Somniverse. Deer in the Headlights will be out on August 26th on red 10" vinyl and digitally. 

After 7 solo EPs for independent hardcore labels like Meta4, Love Hz and PRSPCT Recordings, and more recent techno releases for RAW, Ghostly International and Possession, Somniac One is seizing the deer by its antlers to launch her own label: Somniverse!

As a firmly established name in industrial hardcore and fast-rising star in techno, Somniac One is perfectly positioned to color between the lines of both genres. A desire to go beyond boundaries to claim ownership of Somniac One's vast stylistic range – and to make you dance – is at the heart of Somniverse. Expect effective hardcore bangers, techno bangers, cross-over bangers. Bangers, pretty much, and the occasional tame B-side.

Deer in the Headlights is the first release on Somniverse and features two Somniac One productions that directly relate to the kind of sets she is playing to hardcore and techno audiences – always with the idea to draw fans from one scene into the other. Arp Track #1 is a classic piece of slowly unfolding, muscular and subtly euphoric techno, while MNDKNTRL on the flipside harkens back to some of the best moments in dark millennium hardcore.

Run by JX-216 and Sone, From 0-1 is a well-known underground techno label from the USA that has welcomed top quality artists like Brendon Moeller, aka Echologist, Operator (UK), and Hans Bouffmyhre.

Jason Patrick makes his debut on From 0-1 with the new EP titled Back Channel Communications, which comes after releases for Jeremy P. Caulfield’s Dumb Unit, DJ Hyperactive’s 4 Track, Submerge’s Impact Mechanics, and Mike Derer’s Northern Parallels, among others.

For this DT:Premiere we selected “Conspire” as the highlight, and we have the exclusive music video on YouTube. A hypnotic and cyclical sound is featured from the start, that oozes in power and precision. Sci-fi style atmospherics add a dystopian ethos to its relentless and driving percussion to sprinkle an epic excellence to this ripping DJ tool.

His name is Victor Raigoza, known by the stage name Azogiař”. Born in Cali - Valle Del Cauca, Raised in Roldanillo, Colombia; he is a producer influenced by the local electronic scene since 2014. Azogiař: He is a producer of the new wave of 2020, now respected for his discipline in the studio his music now already has a great support worldwide. Currently based in Spain since November 2022. Some time later he was molding his sound panorama with psychedelic synthesizers and enveloping atmospheres with his characteristic rawtechno beat.

In this sonic piece “Dimensions” @azogiar_ builds an interesting environment for phsychedelic paradigmas into his music soundscape surrealism, synthesis and drums goes around d and around your mind, make you lose focus on time and makes you drive this trip like only your mind would.
