Inspired by Happy Hardcore and combined with the heavy techno of today, the EP is a statement of how our industry has been suppressed and overlooked. But also an opportunity for its rebirth. In recent years it has been watered down and overly structured. With this EP, I'm going back to my rave roots and what I originally produced. The true meaning of music, feeling and togetherness.... In “The Beast Within” album, Brazilian producer and DJ, Diego Garcia alternates between both of their male and female aliases: Projekt Gestalten and The Princess of Death; in order to create original pieces of music inspired by a point-and-click adventure game from the 90’s. As Projekt Gestalten, an array of dance tracks are functionally presented; dissecting a more rational aspect from the game's storyline. In contrast, The Princess of Death goes into an ambient and experimental approach; exploring liturgical themes. In the end, the gender polarizing concept is extrapolated and both aliases are finally merged into one another; leading to the Gestalt principle, alluded to in Diego's main alias, being fully applied as a whole.
