Timmo’s debut Drumcode release ‘We Beat On’ carries a flow through out that gives Timmo his own unique sound that has captured the ears of many highly revered techno DJ’s around the world. Timmo uses hypnotic sounds and phrases whilst he always maintains a thumping techno beat that underlies all the tracks within this EP to maximum effect. Furthermore, there is a ghostly feel amongst Timmo’s tracks that really provide him with his acquired sound, the pads in ‘Canvas’ are a beautiful reminder of this. Timmo also uses strong synth stabs to full effect that juxtapose against the drums to help create the tension and aggression that is present within techno.

The legendary Spartaque lands on Reload Black, wasting no time whatsoever and going straight for the jugular with his latest two-track offering!
'Shadows' is up first, charging its way through thick territory with a thumping bass serving as the backbone, while cheeky synths and commanding, spoken-word samples slowly make their appearance. A massive synthesizer roars its head out of nowhere and the mayhem ensues as prescribed! On 'Rino' the gears get slightly shifted and a steamrolling rhythm section is employed, whereas mangle chords combined with hauntings effects only add to the cavernous vibe!

Clint Stewart turns Acid Control into a much more delicate Techno tune with a focused melody that accompanies the track. Loco & Jam are back!

Irish live act and producer Hybrasil builds on a big 2018 with a fantastic debut on the mighty Rekids entitled ‘Afra’.

Hybrasil has put out plenty of techno tracks that have topped Beatport charts. He’s released on Octopus Records, his own self-titled label and Break New Soil, as well as playing Amnesia Terrace and Privilege Ibiza. He is a new school techno talent of the highest order. "

Slick opener ‘Afra’ is the sort of lively techno cut that gets the floor marching to its beat before erupting with big synth stabs that look to the heavens. The Millsian ‘Source Vibration’ pairs things back to flat footed, forward driving kicks and molten synths that ripple over the drums. As intensity builds, the synths grow ever more wild to ensure plenty of big moments in the club.

‘Pallas Athena & Aeoleusc’ continues to pair monstrous drum programming with uplifting chord work that is simple yet hugely effective. Rising up through the shadows, the glistening pads bring colour and future soul to the track, before last of all, ‘Bishop’ flips the script with some funkier drum programming that gets you on your toes as dubbier chords flesh out the grooves.

You probably know some of the names, some you might not have heard of but the fact is...... You should really have all of them on your radar cause they all create incredible music and have a stunning back-catalogue.
I chose the remixers strictly from my own personal taste in music and it’s all producers I felt could take the originals in total different directions.

His sound is a beautiful craft of all the technical aspects that make a Big Room track relevant, he has no fear in showing emotions but at the same time locking key elements essential for the dancefloor.
