Unravel - Bombshell

FLASH Recordings is the musical vision and platform of Florian Meindl.

Based in the Romanian capital of Bucharest - one of the world's main crossroads of Underground Electronica, Kiddo's take on Electronic music in general is that it represents a vast and complex journey.

One in which somebody can find himself. It requires some of the most open and out of the box minds, in order for it to be properly understood and felt.

What gives Kiddo the right to speak freely about this and to be taken seriously into consideration as a valid opinion, is a 20 years experience in listening, searching, selecting and finding the best possible electronic tracks which are the goldnuggets of electronica, ranging from low beat-rate genres such as Lo-Fi, Lounge, Budha Bar etc, to the highest beat rate genres such as Trance (in its glory days), Techno in all of it's forms and Hard-Core (taking as a reference point the legendary German compilations Schranz Total from the 2000's) and anything in between. Dub, House, Tech-House, Deep-House, Electro, DnB, Detroit Techno & the Berlin counterpart, and last but not least, the eclectic and classy sound of the formerly named genre "REM" (Romanian Electronic Music), now named officially Ro-Minimal, including Experimental Electronic Music.

Almost nothing has escaped the mind and ears of Kiddo in terms of Electronica. He has dedicated himself throughout life in promoting quality Underground Electronic Music as a whole, in front of anyone who in a short-minded thinking regarded the genre as being "repetitive and boring", by firmly insisting that they are simply missing the point and lack the necessary patience in finding the right tracks that "go with the flow", together with finding beauty in a type of music that Kiddo considers to be the only real music in this world.

This while giving credit and respect where it's due in regards to any top class band and singer from the mainstream stage, who has shown mastery in the art of composing and creating music through classical instruments and vocal. Nevertheless, given the complex train of thought and technical skills necessary for someone to engage in Electronic Music, Kiddo divides music generally in 2 categories: Electronic Music and the rest.

All of the above being stated by always remaining into the "Underground" spectrum, which many have tried to dilute and take advantage of for their own financial gain together with DJs and producers from the past who left the "Underground Community", that is NOT defined by events and gigs happening today at large scales with big audiences.

For the time being, Kiddo is not promoting himself as a DJ\Producer of any sort, and this BIO will be updated once this situation changes.

DJ, producer, resident at Transformator club in Wrocław. On a daily basis, he is closely associated with the Breslau Techno collective, which interweaves passion for music with audio-visual art. He comes from Jawor, but currently lives in the capital of Lower Silesia. He actively participates in the development of the local and Polish club scene, proclaiming "Techno Dradorianism". He has published his tracks in polish and foreign labels (Crunch Control, Traquency Records). But let's start from the beginning...
His first contact with electronic music was when he was less than 14 years old. Back then, he began to be interested in the scheme of creating and combining sounds with each other. For many years, he's been gaining knowledge about mixing, using the trial and error method to create the first projects. He traveled through many genres and combined them with each other, what allowed him to create unusual compositions. Youthful dreams and the vision of being "someone" in the music industry became reality step by step. "Perseverance, sacrifice and failure - the foundation that will help you achieve your goals" - this is the motto that accompanies him every day. He perceives music as an emotional bond between people. The rhythm emanating from the speakers, in his opinion, reflects what cannot be expressed with words.
