After their previous synthwave influenced release, “Turbo Lover”, Italove is back on its roots with a new track “Chasing Ghosts”. The song has the essence of Italove productions; bright and memorable synth riff, simple but strong verse & bridge that leads the song to a very catchy and uplifting chorus and all this frosted with some “oo-oo-o” backing choirs. What else could Italove fans wish for?

The vinyl has three different mixes of the main track; Extended, modern Soundfactory Paradise Mix and 80s Italo mix by Electro Potato. On the B-side you can also find an instrumental track “L’Orient” with heavy connection to the 80s Italo spacesynth tracks.

There have been several Italove duets released during the years, but this particular collaboration has been on Italove’s agenda for a long time. Tom Hooker is one of the best known Italo Disco voices and now he has been recording his vocals for this new Italove bomba that has been collecting more than 80.000 views on YouTube within three months. “Face To Face” is a strongly Italo-influenced track with a slow beat and heavy bass, a  perfect track for bringing these two artists together.

The vinyl release naturally has the original Extended Mix on the A1 spot, but it also offers two exclusive remixes for the delight of Italo fans; Flashback Remix with 80s sound without compromises and an uptempo remix by Clayback. As frosting on a cake the vinyl also includes an instrumental track called “Extatique”.

Flashback Records is dedicated to Italian dance music of the 80s. The idea of the label is to release 80s Italo Disco music that has never been released before. Sometimes the released material has been taken directly from the old master tapes or has been re-arranged and produced based on old demos, but most of the cases the tracks are written and arranged nowadays, keeping the old style and sounds of the 80s. The main goal is to discover, produce and release 80s Italian dance tracks and in this way keep this great music alive and bring lost Italo Disco tracks to the daylight and delight of Italo-fans.The main form for Flashback Records releases are 12″ vinyls (in the 80s spirit), but Flashback Records has also released some CD albums.
