Setting out with the clear aim to be different, good people and good music created an environment, atmosphere and experience like no other! 4 years on and its safe to say that the boundaries of what was considered the norm have been tested, twisted and blown away. 80's Rave's, School Disco's, Wig Parties, Moustache Mayhem, Monster Bashes, Amenisa Terrace, Es Paradis, SuperPrides and plenty of other events have seen venue transformations, pyrotechnics, light shows, entertainers, world-renowned DJ talent and crowds from 400-4000 care-free, hedonistic ravers sticking two fingers up to those who conform to normal society and showing everyone else how to really party!

Following the rapturous reception of his first club-centric EP for Turbo, as well as remixes for Santigold and the forthcoming AlunaGeorge single, UK superproducer Duke Dumont returns to tighten his stranglehold on the worldwide nightgeist with FOR CLUB PLAY ONLY VOL. 2, this time training his sights on the Vocal Anthem heavyweight title.

A-side "No Money Blues" brings UK bass and deep house into the realm of crossover pop, while "The Giver" is an ecstatic vocal house anthem that would fit seamlessly alongside the most uplifting MURK classics. These are probably the two most "feel-good" tracks we will put out all year, but the impeccable level of quality actually lets you "feel good" about "feeling good."

This EP positions Dumont as the versatile international hitmaker we know him to be, establishing a globe-spanning Dukedom to unite us all.

House legends X-Press 2 present a weekly House show exclusively on Ministry of Sound Radio!
The X-Press 2 story continues, house music stalwarts Rocky and Diesel continue to fly the flag. Their recently released long player 'The House of X-Press 2' once again saw them hooking up with some fabulous collaborators. Step forward Roland Clark, Alison Limerick, Doll, Tim Deluxe, Timo Garcia to name but a few. The guys are busy working on a follow up album as well as working on some more balearic influenced projects. With the 20th anniversary of the release of 'Muzik Express' approaching, there are also plans afoot to embark on a UK tour to celebrate this milestone, with possibly some more music to coincide. Meanwhile, the boys will continue to push all that's great and new in the world of proper house music for their weekly slot on Ministry of Sound Radio.

Ministry of Sound presents 'House of  X-Press 2'

This is my DJ mix from the Daphni 'JIAOLONG' album release party at the Bussey Building in Peckham, London, UK.

It was recorded live and performed with 3 Pioneer CDJ 2000s playing digital files, an E&S DJR400 mixer and a Boss RE-20 Space Echo pedal.

All 7.5 hours are here - warts and all. Apologies for the occasionally crunchy sound quality and periodic lapses in mixing. It's only split into two parts because it was too long to upload as one file.

It was a fantastic night - thank you to all of you who were there and to Huntleys & Palmers for putting the night on. But as many of you were unable to attend for geographic and other reasons, I wanted to share it with you this way.
