Welcome to a special edition of the Global DJ Broadcast this week, as Markus Schulz presents his annual Year in Review - a 40 track mix of the most memorable melodies and moments, interspersed with excerpts of famous names who have departed us throughout this year.

And as the holiday season comes closer, two further treats in store - the most popular World Tour of 2016 airing next week, and the sacred Classics Showcase to conclude the calendar. In the clubs, you can catch Markus tonight for Beta in Denver, before heading to another Beta, this time in Waterloo on Saturday. On Friday 23rd he welcomes Christmas weekend at E11even in Miami, before heading to his old stomping grounds of Arizona for Maya in Scottsdale on Friday 30th. And last but not least, history will be made on New Year's Eve with a special open to close solo set at Avalon in Los Angeles to welcome 2017. Hope to see you at one of the shows.

Hello again,

Presenting the first of two holiday gifts for you, the now traditional three hour journey mix for Afterhours.fm's End of Year Countdown celebrations, and one that encompasses many long hours of preparation. 

Much like a reflection of the open to close solo sets, the extended time allows the full Markus Schulz sound palette to blossom - starting deep, and building things up as we go along. A collection of some of my favorites across the genres in recent months, a few brand new IDs being debuted for the first time on radio, and a little sprinkling of classics.
