Mattia Amendola started to be a dj nine years ago when he bought his first console while he started to be a producer six years ago. He played in the most famous Clubs of Rome, Italy.
He released on Beatport and iTunes with Ehtraxx\Coldwave Recording with his tracks "Cyclo Style" and "Infinity(M-Hallers Remix), with Strakton Records "Back In My Days" and as independent "Eternity"

Barely Awake is a 4-piece math-rock/alternative band from Pesaro, Italy.

The project was born in 2009, from an idea of the current band members, with no specific artistic direction, with the only aim of making music and create original songs.

The artistic evolution of the band begun by playing a quite canonic/standard kind of metal/post-hardcore, which then blended with experimentations and influences from the most different genres, up to today, when the metal sound of the early days has completely disappeared, or just hinted at every one and then. In the past 4 years, 3 shorts self-produced EPs have been released, and the band has seen 3 line-up changes; today the band is back to its origins, with the original 4-member line-up it started with. The last year had the band involved in two european tours, playing shows in France, UK, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary and Italy.

In December 2013 the single “Mary Anne Kelly” was released as a preview of the upcoming album. “An incredible track consisting of intricate, explosive instrumentation and epic vocals. A tremendous band from the sound that is somewhat reminiscent of the Mars Volta.” - Math-Rock.net

The new album will come out march 15th, and will be available to download for free on the independent music platform DIYSCO (www.diysco.com).
