Methxx04 takes an international direction and sees the Metalheadz debuts of  ArpXP & Reza hailing from Italy and Poland respectively.

”No Control” by Arp XP & Reza featuring Kayka is deep, dark and brooding. Rolling beats and super low sub are laced with Kayka's haunting vocal to devastating effect. A favourite of Lenzman's and featuring in many of his sets, this is a highly anticipated release and one that's guaranteed to get heads nodding and feet moving.

”Unknown Feeling” by Reza is a dubbed out minimal journey into drum and bass. Melancholy chords combine with snippets of vocal and a sparse break, which are all underpinned by the weightiest of basslines. With two tracks of this quality it's no wonder this release is a double A side.

Collectively the two tracks make for a killer release - yet another gem in the much sought after METHXX catalogue

Recently we’ve been playing a lot of private parties and gigs around NYC  - - and this weekend we were asked for a fuLL dub // bass set. We decided to put a little Indian twist on it in honour of Durga Pooja, which is just finishing off now with her immersion in the sea. In fact, we’re releasing this set in Brooklyn just as Dussehra descends on India :: the holiday that celebrates the victory of good over evil. JAI !!

Belgium based music producer J.Nomad, real name Jessie Thijs produces Footwork/Jungle and Juke music.
Starting his musical journey in 2015 on Halogen Music being part of a various artists album gave him the likes of Belgian Dnb guru Murdock (Rampage). What followed was a single together with UK based music producer Crypticz that they released on Halogen Music aswell. “Downfall” dropped hard and got picked up by Om Unit and Hyroglifics to name a few.
After releasing a couple of other tracks including releases on Antwerp based footwork label Footjuice and a collab with Canadian beat wizards Greazus on Halogen Music, J.Nomad was being featured on Corrupted’s “Bussaback EP” with two collabs including “Holdin’ On” wich got picked up by Friction and being played on his legendary BBC 1Xtra Show.
 J.Nomad tries to grab back to the 90’s sound combined with chopped breakbeats and sampled iconic vocals that shaped the 90’s.

Translation celebrates its undying love for all things dub with the “Creator” EP, which is the perfect summertime blend of half-tempo reggae vibes, cinematic atmospherics, and ample doses of deep sub bass.  Up first is the EP’s title track “Creator” by Belgium dub scientists The Untouchables, who serve up an organic throwback to the roots that captures the vibe and energy of a live show, with particular emphasis on instrumentation, reverb, and delay.  Switching gears, Theory saddles up and rides into town with “Wild West Ting,” a rudebwoy showdown of epic proportions that blends Spaghetti Western influences with beefy half-tempo drums, chest-rattling lows, and a six-shooter.  On “Abi Dub,” the dynamic duo of Flatliners and Dubmonger blend raw dub styles with serene atmospherics, shuffling hi-hats, and meticulously crafted analogue delays straight from the desk.  The last track on the EP comes courtesy of Translation RogueState, who takes the helm to deliver an “amenized” version of Morphy’s “The Gate,” juxtaposing the immersive, cinematic, and voyage-like atmosphere of the original with rugged and rolling breaks.  The “Creator” EP picks up where 2011’s “Not Your Fool” EP left off, continuing Translation’s exploration of the dub/reggae genre from new and fresh perspectives.
