Solid Steel (19th December) Coldcut return with a special 2 hour mix to end another great year on Solid Steel and a late contender for Mix of the Year. Matt Black steps up with a suitably broad selection starting with a laid back opening from Tokimonsta, Thundercat, Slugabed and The Free Design. Proceedings pick up with Cid Rim, Instra:mental and classic Smith & Mighty. Recent guests Distal and Peverelist both feature, alongside Untold, The Bug and Oneohtrix Point Never. Time to start Friday morning with a slice of abstract tranquility from Montreal based Stefan Jós who releases his debut album 'Primitives' on flau and raum shortly. Spacious, bugged-out electronics give way to sober crispiness. "The moody rhythms, wood and metal, weird noises in wet caves and other goodies for ground-dwellers and mole people alike."

Stefan Jós is Devon Hansen, a musician and video artist born and raised in Southern California.
