Charlie P is a raggamuffin rudeboy youth with a natural talent for music. He first appeared on stage at the age of 5 and there are some grainy youtube videos of him performing as a child. He started out singing motown and blues but reggae was in his blood since he grew up surrounded by UK-Jamaican culture. He started singing with the Goldmaster Allstars at the age of 11, but was soon drawn to soundsystems which is where he feels most at home. His uncle had been running a sound in Southend on Sea and it was his mother who encouraged him in his career. 
Charlie first came to Glasgow in 2010 for one of Mungo’s Hi Fi’s legendary nights at the Artschool. This was the beginning of their working relationship which has seen countless recording sessions and continuous touring around every corner of the globe. This album is the culmination of this ongoing relationship and brings together the best tracks across the styles that he loves, from roots reggae and dancehall to modern bass music. 
Some are surprised to see a young white guy with a Jamaican accent, but it is his musical language and Charlie is not pretending to be anything but himself - a man with a passion for good ganja and reggae dancehall.

Deekline and Tipa Irie are bringing the smooth grooves and ragga vibes in the place on their latest colab for Jungle Cakes. Setting the perfect mood for the summer Deekline has laced this chilled out, tropical Jungle beat with Tipa’s infectious vocal. Calling up Voltage & Nicky Blackmarket for remix duties they’ve kept some of the Caribbean feel but added some down low dirt to the mix. And no Deekline release would be complete with out some garage for the house heads, bringing a little bit of the 90s warehouse feel to the release, a sub heavy sound that will cause some serious damage on the floor.

When DJ Solo brought the original version of ‘Darkage’ to the underground scene in 1993 it caused absolute mayhem. With support from literally everyone, it featured on thousands of tape packs and was one of the true anthems of its time. Even to this day it still sounds fresh.

Aries and Fleck have taken literally everything that made the original special and reworked it for not only the modern audience but for those who were there in ‘93. ‘Darkage’ is one of those tunes that never really left the hearts of original ravers and this really is demonstrated by Aries and Fleck who were no doubt in the front row at Dreamscape when Ratty, Grooverider, G.E Real and Slipmatt dropped the original.

Nicky Blackmarket’s Kartoons is proud to finally be able to release this official and it’s testament to the saying ‘good things come to those who wait’.

The song is titled 'Think Positive', which is dedicated to Baby Love 'Jaden, the son of Charlene Mulhern. FLeCK is an electronic music producer and DJ, signed on Dread Recordings and Serial Killaz Recordings. Born in Athens, Greece, he started his musical journey in the mid 90’s and today his sound has spread worldwide.

FLeCK’s music is characterized by a Roots Reggae Dub vibe mixed with futuristic Jungle breaks and fat bass sounds. It has found its way into the record boxes of the likes of Public Enemy’s DJ Lord, Rusko and many other big names in the game around the world such as Congo Natty, Jumping Jack Frost, Kenny Ken, Ray Keith, 2 Bad Mice, Altern8, Nicky Blackmarket, as well featuring on Diplo’s Mad Decent blog and receiving massive worldwide radio support from London’s legendary Kool FM to BBC 1Xtra.

He has collaborated ,written and remixed tunes for artists like Zion Train, Mungo’s HiFi, Ray Keith, Congo Natty, Chopstick Dubplate, Aries, JStar, Soom T, Dj Solo, Dub Pistols, Taiwan MC, Earl 16 and many others. 

His music has been released on prestigious record labels around the world such as Scotch Bonnet, Jungle Cakes, Born On Road, Serial Killaz, Dread Recordings, Congo Natty Bass, ODG, Liondub International, Nice Up! and Universal Egg to name a few.

In recent years he has travelled the world playing clubs and big festivals (Outlook, Boomtown, Glastonbury, Seasplash, Overjam, Wee Dub, Incubate, Drop Beats Not Bombs, Let it Roll, Eden) regularly passing through Austria, UK, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Slovenia, Finland, Croatia, Poland, Portugal, Germany and Greece. 

He has shared stages with Horace Andy, Alborosie, Congo Natty, Zion Train, Dub Pistols, Mungo’s Hi Fi, Aba Shanti-I, Stand High Patrol, Prince Fatty and many, many others and the clear message this sends out is that FLeCK’s love for sound system music is embraced the world over!

In 2015, 2016 and 2017 he was nominated as Best Breakthrough Producer and Best Breakthrough DJ at the We Love Jungle Awards.
