Here is my prelude and fugue in A Major - the final project for my composition seminar at Furman University! The prelude is inspired by the minimalism of Steve Reich, and the fugue is by the last movement fugue of Samuel Barber's Piano Sonata.

Prelude And Fugue In A Major

The French Impressionist composer, Claude Debussy, wrote this piano piece to represent a mythical cathedral that was submerged underwater and rose from the sea on clear mornings. Composed in 1910 as the 10th prelude in the first book of preludes, Debussy uses harmonic devices to give the impression of church bells and choirs, as well as the cathedrals ascent from the sea. Performed by Fletcher Wilson.

This piece was performed by Fletcher Wilson (piano) along side the Rollins College orchestra. The concerto is deeply infused with jazz idioms and harmonies. This piece is one of my all-time favorites to play!

RAVEL: Piano Concerto In G, I. Allegramente

Fletcher Wilson's Junior piano recital. Live recording from the concert on 11/8/15. Program featured Claude Debussy's Suite Bergamasque, which includes the beautiful and popular, Clair de Lune. The program closed with Frédéric Chopin's virtuosic and emotional Scherzo No. 2 Op. 31.

The Senior piano recital of Fletcher Wilson, live from April 30, 2017. Solo piano sonatas featured the music of Beethoven and Prokofiev. The Kepler Trio performed the Ravel piano trio, Eric Rokni (cello) and Keenan Kushner(violin).
