Its finally here.... something that has been undoubtedly the most cathartic offering that I have put out in my 18 years of MC'ing / Mixing.

DJ Fluent Presents - Flewid MC 2020 Introspection spray out.

This is a short 15 minute piece that is both mixed by me and with me also providing vocals.

I have made some real changes in late 2019 that allowed me to re-ignite my passion for writing lyrics and spitting and as a result, started penning again at a rapid rate. Taking influences from my own life experiences, my journey, my friends, my family and my new aspirations towards cognitive hypnotherapy and my philosophies on how we progress......
I wanted to take a retrospective look at 2020 through my own eyes and put out something reflective of my thoughts and feelings.
The mix - Short, sweet, evolving and punchy.
The lyrics - based more heavily than ever around word play, multi's, linguistics and syntactics.

I mean this more than ever, thank you to all of you that have been of personal support to me over the last couple of years both in terms of my music, my personal life & my overall well intentioned absurdities.
Those that have consistently been there for me, I owe you everything (you know who you are ;) )& those that have been kind enough to provide feedback in any format, taken time out of their own lives to listen, share, re-post, comment, like, support.... you guys are the reason for this output.
So I thank you all...... So much more to come now you'll be sick of it... just remember, its also your fault...... haha.

Im not adding a TL for once as I want there to be no pre-conceptions before you choose to listen but for once, I am confident and its sprinkled with Optimism and vibes.

Finally to Marc Ramshaw who has been on-point from day 1 with everything art / branding related. Solid gold salute pal(#carners). Big Love

Zac Ray Sanders Nebula Music LTD who kindly mixed and mastered this out of kindness (safe Dj Mutley for the hook up) & for showing me that its not only possible to polish a turd but take lots of small turds... consolidate them into one healthy (Gillian Mckeith approving) Turd, polish it, roll it in glitter, Lacquer it and mount it on ornate finished beechwood. I'm not a producer, a promoter, or a DJ. I do not host a blog, podcast, radio show, or YouTube channel.

What I do is dance daily with a few friends… we track our dancing using a fitness app (which could really use a dance culture, jus say'n). I do what I can to promote sets that move me, especially with catchy art. Anyone wishing to dance with us is welcome to join… any age… #heartsdance

I simply enjoy listening to music I've never heard before and I love to dance. Thus, I'm drawn to all types of dance music. It amazes me that the producer/computer collaboration is able to bring forth unique sounds that can be stunningly beautiful, insanely experimental or somewhere in between, or something entirely different.
