Silencer Movement is an up and coming independent record label founded by JG, who is a solo artist, born and raised in the hard streets of the Bronx. He moved down south at the age of 16, and nothing came easy, he had to hustle and work hard in order to make it. JG is an artist that has always based his music on real life situations; the pain and struggles that he has endured throughout his life, and losing the woman who raised him as a child, as well as losing his role model and uncle. He adds this, " It had me lost for a min, I just lost my mother and a special uncle to me but it has humbled me to motivate,  thank God I'm back on track." For over ten years JG had worked with Pound 4 Pound Records; founded by Winky Wright and Whatever Works Entertainment's producer Maquet Robinson who was a member of Special Generation, an R&B group founded by platinum recording artist MC Hammer. JG recorded his first demo with Maquet Robinson along with recording artist Prophecy, a.k.a nick powers and released a demo January 2, 2001. The demo was sent to A & R' s, and producers from entertainment groups such as: Bad Boy, Interscope, Cash Money, No Limit, and many more. Without much success, and being unaccustomed to the music industry; Nick Powers, decided to attend school to receive a degree in recording arts, and always told JG, "I'll be back, hopefully as a successful producer," adding "Just keep doing your thing JG, this music is gonna workout for us eventually." With that being said; JG, continued to work on his music, recording mixtape after mixtape. His first project was "A Dream Of A Hustler", followed by, "Pain Of A Hustler", "HardRoc Vol. 1", "HardRoc Vol.2", "Misunderstood", "The Castro Chronicles", and many more. JG soon decided to start his own merchandise and clothing for(Silencer Movement), and help out the less fortunate with 50% of the profits.(@smclothinginc) Currently Smclothinginc is developing as a company, and are involved in a numbers of collaboration. I've loved music since I was a youngin .  Do it as a hobby I come from a musical family . Some of the is music is from when  I  use do this in my bathroom  of my first apartment  .from then I have learned a little more at mixing  ,with my pc and mic .
