Dan Guidance, AKA Dan Guy, is a Drum and Bass producer from the UK and is mostly associated with the atmospheric Liquid side of Drum & Bass music. He had his first release in the summer of 2011, with the pensive Liquid DnB EP ‘Introspection’. Following this, he released an impressive catalogue of DnB classics with labels such as Technique, Fokuz, Celsius, Flex and Soul Deep Recordings, collaborating with many top DnB producers and vocalists in the scene.
The EP shows the clear line of the two producers in terms of musical classification. Melodic liquid Drum&Bass good vibes and the desire to dance.

The final part of our 5 year celebrations are here and just like our second part, we've asked a wealth of talent to remix some of the classics we've had the pleasure to release over the years. The final batch of remixes showcase the variety we've always prided ourselves on, from classic liquid vibes by Echo Motion and Hazqa, jungle flavours by Karma Kingdom, jump up by Colossus and deeper vibes by Enok & Option collaborating for the first ever time.

Up first, Enok & Option team up to take Mindloader's debut Detached offering down a deeper direction, while bringing out the best in both of their individual styles. This is followed up by Karma Kingdom returning to the label to flip K2T & Sirus' 2018 classic, 'Rwenzori'. By keeping true to the original and updating it with chopped amens and a more rugged bassline, Karma Kingdom showcases his unique take on Drum & Bass effortlessly once again.

Colossus steps to the plate next to rework Linear's track 'Calling' and transforming it into a jump up monster, showcasing this talent's versatility. Echo Motion's remix of 'A Carousel in My Mind' by K2T & Sahara follows, taking the hip hop original down a liquid Drum & Bass route, as Echo Motion does best. This EP is concluded by Hazqa, who takes K2T & Echo Motion's playful 'Arctotis' down a more mellow direction while maintaining the essence of the infectious piano hook from the original.

It's been a pleasure providing high quality music for the last 5 years and as we at Detached move into the next 5 years, we can't wait to continue staying true to our ethos.

Another Goldfat debut, this time from Counter Culture. Straight in with razor hats, a killer Rhodes loop and a clever vocal sample Counter Culture instantly summons up something comfortable from yesteryears yet still visceral. When it drops the drums step whilst the hats run to a warm contorting bass-line. This is the type of nugget a DJ should have in their artillery. Chunky!
