Bio:
The spectrum of Holle, includes both Tech and Deephouse. Even disco influences can be found in his sets. With his mixes he casts a spell over the audience and presents you the special thing about the music. When he felt the energy of the music for the first time in the Dresden club "Showboxx", it was clear to him that he would like to spray it himself later on. So he became Dj and ambassador of electronic sounds and gained a lot of experience at house parties and various events. Besides his own Soundcloud profile he runs a podcast series called "Gone are the Days". On his own site he delivers a monthly updated set and is therefore always up to date. Also on relevant sites like Vision 3, Peace Peter, Like that Underground, BrgFst, Melo Neo Time, Panne Podcast, ION, Konterbier, Music 4 You and Glüh dich Glücklich, he can record success with his mixes. Even though I recorded this mix in my small New Zealand quarantine hotel room, ‘the lagoon’ is a very real place. Last time this year, a small group of friends and I threw a secret bonfire moonrise party at this undisclosed location and I played a set there. This year I can sadly not be there, but I recorded a set with the event in mind. The result is over two and a half hours of eclectic psychedelic sounds. Channel your own inner lagoon the way I did over the past two days putting this set together.

The Scumfrog - Full Moon At The Lagoon

Flip (Felipe) is a Brazilian-American house Dj and is best known for his energetic live sets and deep groovy studio mixes. Growing up in Miami in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, Flip was influenced by the electronic music scene from an early age. Having attended Ultra Music Festival in 2002 he was introduced to many types of genres of electronic music and ignited a passion to want to learn more.

Always having an ear for particular sound he began exploring the world of trance, house, breaks and drum and bass. After sampling all of these genres, he found a home in house music and began playing at rooftop parties and events in Miami. Then moving to California in 2008 he began playing at clubs in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego.

Working his way through the ranks he played at such venues as: Avalon, Yost Theater, Club X, Red, Spin, Bassmnt, Hard Rock San Diego, Hard Rock Palm Spring and Sutra. Then in 2013 during his first trip to Black Rock City at Burning Man he made several contacts and began playing for camps such as Trifucta, Music Savages, Slut Garden, and Beats Boutique. At burning man, he found a new audience that shared the same passion for underground music and for the past 3 years he’s been playing mainly at camp fundraisers, private events and other local California festivals such as Youtopia, Genius Loci and Bequinox.

Today Flip keeps his SoundCloud (soundcloud.com/flipmode26) audience up to date with new mixes and exploring fresh sounds. He continues to be involved with Burning Man events, local festivals and djing private gigs. He is not limited to one sound and continues to explore the ever changing world of deep house, disco, funk and underground house and push the boundaries. Stay tuned for what’s next!
