@kataya_official s a DJ living in Berlin. At the age of six, Kataya discovered her passion for music, she started to learn different instruments and play autodidactic. Due to her great talent, she then attended a music school and played in a classical orchestra. This had a great influence on her view of music as a very social art, including the role of producer and consumer at the same time. In the late 90s, her brother introduced her to Berlin genres such as techno, urban music and more. Inspired by rhythm and the soul of the matter, she developed new ideas and deep understanding of the subject.
2017 she had her first gig at one of the Berlin’s biggest music events, the Carnival of Cultures. Since the spark was ignited, she and her music have been a self-starter. Her social thinking, mixed with her sensitive sense for certain vibrations, manages to connect with the soul of the dance floor like a dream catcher. From deep baselines and wonderful melodies to epic vocals, groovy sub-bases and dirty tunes, she always knows what's hot.
