Vega (AU) is a longtime electronic music enthusiast, hailing from Melbourne, Australia. His sound is a blend of deep grooves, blissful organic house fused with driving progressive and often with afro-melodic and tribal elements in order to create a worldly journey for his listener. He takes great influence from labels including All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Amulanga, The Soundgarden, 3rd Avenue, Be Adult Music, The Purr and Meanwhile Recordings, and is naturally drawn to track selections that evoke an emotive and atmospheric tone. 

Vega (AU) has appeared as guest mixer on numerous radio and streaming hosts including AATM Club Radio [UK], Radio Deep [UK], Bondi Radio [AUS] and Sinergia [SVN], as well as gaining monthly residencies at some of Melbourne's most popular bar offerings including the Ibiza themed 'Arbory Afloat' and the intimate 'Music Room' at HER Bar as a member of @floatingdreamsmusic, where he has had the opportunity to play alongside some industry greats including Sébastien Léger, Double Touch [All Day I Dream], Weird Sounding Dude [Anjunadeep / The Soundarden], GMJ & Matter [Meanwhile Recordings], Kasey Taylor [Vapour Recordings, Sudbeat].

01 Floating Dreams - Warm Up For Nils Hoffmann At Brown Alley MEL

Melbourne based vocalist/producer eM is an accomplished artist in the EDM scene with several self produced albums and EPs over the last 15 years, alongside over 50 singles with various producers available on Beatport. 

Having started singing at the age of 6 and writing her first song at the age of 13. When other kids were out playing in the yard she was cutting up cassette tapes and making her own mega mixes of her idols at the time - Wham, Madonna and Michael Jackson.   

eM moved to Australia at the age of 18 and in the year 2000 Melbourne became her home to pursue her love for music. She has been involved with acoustic duos, singing with house and trance DJs, involved in a breakbeat duo, ran her own small club/party nights and did voiceovers for community and commercial radio stations such as Kiss Fm Melbourne and the Austereo Network.   

Her first EDM release was with an Italian producer Roby Mannarini ‘I got love’ in 2008. From thereon eM has released trance, progressive house, house tracks with numerous producers from around the globe. The 2nd release with Amsterdam born trance producer MaRLo ‘Capture’ hit no.1 on Trackitdown for 5 consecutive days in early 2010 followed by another hit track ‘People Under the Sun’ with French producer ‘Jerome Zambino’ which ruled Beatports top 10 with 3 of the mixes of this track in the trance and progressive charts for a couple of weeks.   

eM started writing and producing her own material with her debut EP ‘Experience' releasing in 2008. Alongside producing, eM, she has co directed all her videos with Melbourne’s Hit66 Sound and Screen video production. With her first international gig in France 2008 alongside DJ producer Jerome Zambino, eM now does her own solo gigs using Ableton Live triggering percussion samples as she sings covers of popular sings mixed in with her own over progressive instrumentals. This live performance concept was debuted in Liverpool, UK in 2018 followed by a 2 year residency at Double Oaks Estate, a vineyard in regional Melbourne. 

ADE 2023 eM opened up an all woman DJ event (LIA Series) organised by Modern Agenda Music (Canada) at Kashmir Lounge in the heart of Amsterdam with a return gig for 2024.

Nicolas Garcia was born in the neighborhood of Parque Patricios Buenos Aires, Argentina on February 7, 1990.

At his young age he frequented nightclubs related to electronic music, listening to artists such as Danny Howells, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, references of his style.

His love for music led him to become a DJ and Producer.

In 2016 he released his first track on an album released by the label Suffused Music - Initializing, Vol. 11. In 2018 he edited for the record label Superordinate Music - Eastern Forest (Original Mix) among other works.

He currently leads a musical cycle called "Anesthesia" of great repertoire in the south of the province of Buenos Aires.

Cara has been a familiar face on dancefloors in the Melbourne House Music scene for over 15 years, falling in love with Classic House in local haunts such as Q Bar and OneLove at POW early on, then quickly evolving her music taste into a love for Organic House and Progressive/Melodic House and Techno.

Since starting out with her first club gig in May 2021 Cara has risen quickly, now holding a residency at Onesixone (Thursday and Saturday weekly) plus fortnightly/monthly/guest appearances at the Seeing Double, Sky Disco, Warehouse 3000 and Revolver Upstairs, The Emerson and Storyville to name just a few.

Career highlights so far include:

Supporting some amazing artists such as Anthony Pappa, Low Steppa, MANDY, Lo'99, Luuk Van Dijk, MK, Sasha, Monkey Safari and Angelo Ferreri. 

Performed for DiscoBOX at both the Defected 2022 and Glitterbox 2022 Australasia tours.

Performed at Amsterdam Dance Event 2023 for an all Australian showcase.

Awarded Music Victoria's Best DJ 2023.

This month on Cumulus Sounds, we’re pumped to feature Taglo – a true standout in Melbourne’s music scene. 

Having always had a strange allure to music, Taglo found himself drawn to soundscapes from an early age. His experience of growing up living all over the world exposed him to such a wide array of music across different cultures, and when he discovered artists like Axwell, Tiesto and Deadmau5 he decided to pursue his fascination for music into something more. 

Taglo’s journey began in the cosmos of trance and over the years he began to slow things down to evolve into a deeper, progressive sound. Taglo’s soundscaping is emotive, melodic and meaningful – there’s meaning to his melodies, there’s drive. Taglo has supported heavy hitters including Above & Beyond, MaRLo, Dirty South, Cosmic Gate, Jody Wisternoff and more. He’s played at some of Australia’s most prestigious festivals, most recently including Elements Festival, Circus Paradise, Babylon Festival, FestivalX, Piknic Electronik, Anjuna’s Group Therapy Weekender and more. 

With years of experience under his belt, this Gold Coast artist now based in Melbourne is no amateur and it shows with notable releases on labels Armada, Alter Ego, Freegrant Music, Skyfall Records, Silk Music and a release on Anjunadeep’s Explorations in 2023.

In true Taglo style, his set for the June 2025 edition of Cumulus Sounds is a real treat - a blissful trek through melodic, deep, melodic and progressive.

Melbourne-based DJ, producer, vocalist, Jordz is a multi-talented artist, flourishing in her productions and performances. Immersed in the melodic/progressive house scene, her project aims to create beautiful sonic spaces for all listeners. Jordz loves to create, to make a positive impact, and strive to be her best, authentic self. Neurodiverse, she is all about advocating for diversity and accessibility and loves to motivate and encourage newcomers in the music industry to keep going. 

Jordz has supported many international artists in the melodic and progressive house scene. This includes opening for Sultan + Shepard in 2025, as well as supporting Nils Hoffmann, Eli & Fur, Le Youth, CRi, and Nox Vahn.  Additional performances include Ability Fest (Melbourne & Brisbane), Australian Open and Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix among others.

Leah Marie (Late Night Music/ Kontrast) is a DJ and producer hailing from Melbourne, Australia, currently calling Berlin home. In the past few years, Leah has become a prominent figure in the deep, progressive & melodic house landscape. Her signature style focuses on all things groove within the deeper genres of underground house and techno. She weaves progressive and melodic tones with rolling basslines, deep pulsating grooves, often infused with tribal and organic elements in order to entrance the dancefloor with the journey she creates.

A few of her highlights from recent times include playing at Sisyphos, Zurück den Wurzeln Festival (DE),  Kulturkosmos, Wilde Möhre Festival [DE], Funkloch Festival [DE], Esoteric Festival (AUS), The Steel Yard (UK) and Amsterdam Dance Event. She has also joined lineups for renowned record label showcases in Berlin with 3000 Grad, Deep Tales and YOMO Records. In 2025, Leah launched the Kontrast event series alongside co-founders Dilby and Dowden. 

She’s shared stages with esteemed artists - Guy J, Marsh, Jody Wisternoff, Simon Doty, Super Flu, Cristoph, Denney and Yotto, to name a few. Leah has released remixes and original tracks on labels Late Night Music, YOMO Records, Massive Harmony and Musique de Lune. Stay tuned for more upcoming releases.
