Dieses Set bedeutet mir unfassbar viel. Es hat mich meine ganze Kraft gekostet, die letzte Kraft, die noch in mir steckt. 

Die letzten Wochen waren die schlimmsten meines Lebens. Es gibt kein einziges Wort, was dieses Gefühl in einem ausdrücken kann, wenn man einen Menschen verliert. Es gibt kein Wort dafür, weil es einfach nur eine eiskalte Leere ist. Die Sehnsucht nach diesem Menschen zerfrisst einen. Gedanken, Vorwürfe und Fragen, auf die es nicht eine einzige Antwort gibt, zerstören deinen Kopf. Deinem Herzen fehlt ein Stück und es kann nie wieder repariert werden.

Dieses Set ist für meinen kleinen geliebten Bruder, der von uns gegangen ist. 

Es soll kein Abschiedsset werden, sondern eine Aufforderung an alle Engel, mit uns zu tanzen und bei uns zu sein. All die, die einen Menschen verloren haben, können sich in den Melodien verlieren, sich fallen lassen, sich in Erinnerungen an diesen Menschen wiederfinden und mit ihm tanzen, bis in die Ewigkeit. Lasst uns Augenblicke aufleben lassen, die uns keiner nehmen kann. Lasst uns den Himmel zu uns holen, die Wolken streicheln und die Sterne küssen. 

Es gibt leider nichts auf der Welt, was ihn uns zurückbringt. Was uns bleibt ist die Erinnerung, die unvergessliche gemeinsame Zeit und die Gewissheit, dass unser Engel immer bei uns ist. Alles, was wir tun können, ist ihn festzuhalten und für ihn weiterzuleben. 

Das Set soll uns ein kleines Stück Leben zurückbringen, uns ein wenig Kraft und Hoffnung schenken. Es ist auch ein kleines Geschenk für meine Familie. Wir haben eine so große Liebe entwickelt, ein undurchdringbares Band umschließt uns nun. Wir werden uns für immer festhalten, unsere Herzen sind vereint. Ich wünsche mir, dass jeder einzelne von uns mit diesem Set unseren Engel aufleben lassen wird. Für eine kurze Zeit den Schmerz betäuben und uns freuen, ihn gehabt zu haben.

Contrary to popular belief, good things don’t come in pairs. The A-Team, the Teenage Ninja Turtles, Grand Theft Auto IV? That’s right, foursomes are the real deal. So it’s with great pleasure that after two years of frantic preparations, the Quartet Series is ready to be uncaged. A fresh imprint, run by Nachtbraker and KiSk, with four releases in the pipeline, featuring four different artists and commissioned storyboard comics on the sleeve. To see how the story unravels, you’ll need to catch them all...

The Good Guys take care of the A side, while the Bad Guys take things over on the flip. An epic clash of brutal force and rivalry is inevitable. Things take off with an undecided arm wrestling match in Groiler’s pub. Boiling. There is only one way to blow off steam. Lets enter the ring!

For the first missive, The Good Guys will be represented by pianowizard Crackazat (Local Talk, Futureboogie) bringing the optimistic vibes we need to start this fight, while Saine (Sleazy Beats) - the king of subtle moods – provides that voice of reason to keep both our feet on the ground. The Bad Guys enlisted the services of groove maestro Nachtbraker (Dirt Crew, Heist Recordings) to help out with the detailed footwork and master of multiple galaxies Gnork (Blorp, Blind Jacks Journey) steps up to the plate with unmatched stamina to roughen things up.

Let the fight begin.. DING DING!

So many beautiful experiences I have been through the last couple of weeks. From a beautiful gig in Lake Tahoe, to other crazy ones in LA, NY, San Diego and Austin. And then last week I had the privilege to play at the AfrikaBurn. A festival about 5 hours drive from Cape Town. I did two shows there. A sunset one and a pre-burn one. Both beautiful on its own. And when you hear the crowd scream: 'one more song, one more song' knowing that I already played 2 'more' songs....yes, then you know that they like what you do. That having said: I love bringing joy and happiness in your lives so the feeling is mutual! So straight from the heart another Deep & Sexy podcast for you guys.
