What DAWs have you used and that you do use, I realized that in songs like "I wanna drum like Janet Weiss" you used instruments that were also used in flailing tomb, Mima, and Onkalo. That leads me to believe you use certain certain set of or one DAW.

On blue skywards (Great job on the piano by the way) Are the lyrics referring to the formation of a city, as I hear them say "As we found the walls crash, tracing tracks through the sweat on our fingers. We took to the table, life as it flew as the buildings rushed upwards. I couldn't decipher this part, bluesywards, blueskwards, Fingers locked as they fit together , blueskywaards blueskywards, as the sun rushed in I closed my eyes and see." Please fill me in on parts I missed, couldn't decipher, or deciphered wrong. Also if guess was inaccurate could you explain the meaning of those lyrics?

'brace, brace' is Julia Reidy’s soaring Slip return: a dread-tinged incantation unfurling from breath-down-the-neck field recordings, auto-murmured voice, synthetic hum, and irrepressible guitar kinetics.

Reidy's signature 12-string playing - precise, burrowing, rhapsodic - dominates the LP's outer cuts, framing a plaintive electric centre. Blooms of arpeggiations and desolate strums re-inflect slow-moving pitch sequences; the music feels at once on fire and graceful, inevitable.

Perhaps most surprising is how organic 'brace, brace'’s expanded palette feels. Reidy's electronics are subtly eerie extensions, alien resonances of her playing, both embedding her instrument and making it somehow unreal. This strange smear of body and apparition is neatly nailed in Reidy's sung-to-herself vocals, coaxed out and encroached upon by autotune.

Succeeding issues of her work by Feeding Tube and Room 40's A Guide To Saints, 'brace, brace' is a definitive statement from a blazing, restless talent. 

The LP tours with visuals from Suze Whaites. Whaites' projection environment is built from the coruscant light sources and surface reflections with which her video footage is made, creating mutable vistas at once microscopic and panoramic, domestic and sublime.

An absolute pleasure to present ‘Les Borigènes’ - the first LP from France’s Humming Dogs. Born from the radical ‘Oiseau Mouche’ (Bird-Fly Company) - a troupe of actors and comedians who focus on the theatre of gesture - Humming Dogs make joyful, avant rock music, which pooh poohs the po-faced in favour of a party. 

Humming Dogs are made up of eight members - David Bausseron, Mathieu Breuvard, Florence Decourcelle, Thierry Dupont, Chantal Esso, Léa Le Bars, Florian Spiry, and Valérie Waroquier, who each write and create songs, swap instruments and sing collectively. Guitars, bass, drum kit, and keyboards mix with toy percussion, amplified pine cones, pot lids, iPads and a zither. ‘Ha Ha Ha’ opens the record with the group dispersed and growling at one another, only to break out in infectious laughter, a free word riot and a thick bass melody. The traditional French song, ‘Karnaval’, gets totally sent by keyboards and a heavy guitar scrawl egged on by the bands hooting and hollering. ‘Ça Me Gratte’ haunts, grates, until it splits with a rising synthesizer, squeaking toys, vocal drones and spitting, near exhausted vocals from Chantel Esso. 

‘Les Borigènes’ contains the self taught, simple charm of the Shaggs ‘Philosophy of the World’, performed in the spirit of village revelry and recorded and edited beautifully in the tradition of the GRM. Democratized experimentation, low ego rock’n’roll - Les Borigènes is a truly joyous, remarkable and wild record. It arrives in an edition of 500 140g black vinyl LPs, with artwork from London’s Submit to Love Studios and Taylor Silk. Humming Dogs have performed at Sonic Protest, Cafe OTO, and Counterflows and are due to tour again in 2020. "Basically I wanted to replicate the sensation of looking at a rotating Chinese vase. You can see the same motives again and again and again, but your perception is always different each time. You may notice a beautiful hidden detail here, a fine line there, then the irregular glazing, perhaps some cracks on the surface, its elegance, its purpose, its age, etc. Maybe you end up contemplating life itself? 
MING is just a "one-bar composition” that Michael Bonaventure repeats using the endless possibilities of the UTOPA organ at the Orgelpark. 
MING refers to the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644) but it is also an homage to my dear friend composer Chao-Ming Tung who turned 50 this year." LHY
