Simon Green aka Bonobo returns with one of the key cuts from his forthcoming album, 'Black Sands'. Drawing as much on the rhythms of two-step as the lush soundscapes for which he’s best known, 'Eyesdown' also features a remarkable vocal from Andreya Triana and enough fuzzed-out sub-bass for a binful of dubsteppers. Classic and contemporary, melancholy and exhilarating all at once, 'Eyesdown' sounds like the kind of record Massive Attack could be making if they were starting out now.

Remix duties are taken care of by Floating Points and Warrior One. Floating Points got his break at London’s renowned CDR Sessions a couple of years back. Since then his re-edits have been picked up and championed by the likes of Gilles P and Joy Orbison. Here, he stretches the original out into a broken ballad, the vocals increasingly disembodied, the keyboards playing robot soul. Warrior One, meanwhile, give it some of their trademark ravement vibrations. Whilst Appleblim & Komonazmu do a dubbed out warm minimal version.

It’s the orignal, though, that will keep drawing the listener back – strange, beatufiul, heartfelt and memorable, 'Eyesdown' is a key staging post in Green’s continuing, remarkable musical development.

In the middle of putting project aside and downright throwing them out, this one miraculously made it to the light of day! I can't express how much I love this EP, crafting it was total fun and craziness at the same time, a lot more works similar to this one are coming soon so keep an eye open!

To launch the brand new label with a bang, Midland has called up four exciting new artists for a split EP called 'Introduction' and it's one that showcases fresh new talent across four different soundscapes.

Here we premiere Peach's debut track 'Silky' and after she made it into our 30 Under 30,000 list at the start of the year, we're eagerly anticipating what 2018 will bring. If this track is anything to go by, we're in for something special.

Premiere: Peach 'Silky'

We’ve mused before on the Valby sound, one which as their release schedule grows, remains reassuringly new, and stays assuredly close to our hearts. This is the first time https://soundcloud.com/tomvalbyrotary and https://soundcloud.com/louisfitton have passed over the reigns to a new face, welcome https://soundcloud.com/jeigomusic.

A suitably named track this one- iridescent keys catch your eye and beckon you over, rich and inviting; natural pearls can do that though. The track builds and smoulders over a two step rhythm, pushing it, and you forward. Follow the siren vocals and be guided by the shifting bass, such a composition can sometimes be hard to resist.
