This summer Secession Records releases new four track EP by label owner, Volster. Two years since the debut record on Secession, Volster is back with tracks that are showing artist's evolution sonically while still retaining that signature textured sound.
Release will be avaliable both on vinyl and digital medium. EP contains remix of title track „Without A Fight I Am Nothing“ by Setaoc Mass and digital medium will have some bonus remixes from talented Alarico and Assumption.
The title track „Without A Fight I Am Nothing“ starts without restraint, it gives us pure and clean techno from the beginning and it developes in textured sound that Volster is famous by.
„Without A Fight I am Nothing“ remix by Setaoc Mass is a no-nonsense sharp techno cut ready to shake the club floors as soon as they are ready to open again.
„The Wolf“ continues in the same vibe and invites us to move even more. It is perfect culmination of the EP.
„The Reason I Tell You Truth Is Because I Love You“ is deeper and more dramatic npiece of release and it's subtile and darker surrounding builds up tension from the start.

The Colombian techno phenomenon Gotshell debuts on the Planet X label with two bangers – and features remixes from two of the most inspiring techno producers at the moment. There's a lot to be excited about with this one. The release begins with the title track Cluster, a hard-hitting spacey techno wonder. High-pitch sirens travel around the speakers and infiltrate your senses – like an ancient gaseous alien lifeform in search of a carbon-based lifeform. Hypnotic and hard. One of the more prolific techno producers today and the mastermind behind the SK_Eleven label, Setaoc Mass, turns the title track into a molecule-rearranging thumping floor-filler. The B-side starts with Syndrome. Its earth-shattering kick and hypnotic atmospheres drag the listening into a weird, occult journey. Ideal for the late-night darkrooms, metaphorically and figuratively. Takaaki Itoh, the Japanese techno sensation and founder of the acclaimed Wols label, follows up with his own rendition of the track. The remix from this remarkable legend within the scene is both eerie and engaging from the get-go. Its driven by a thumping kick, playful hi-hats, and modular bells – a combination that combines the whole release and makes it such an essential for DJs who are daring enough to take their set toward unknown territory. The Planet X label is the brainchild of the Icelandic techno artist Exos where the harder side of techno is explored.

For the second release of the year we have a very especial pack. A remixed version of Hioll's "Pagan Tools EP" containing six unique interpretations of the original tracks. The next instalment on SK_X sees Belgian producer Phara join his Voltage Festival member Border One on the series for a batch of expertly constructed, surefooted rolling techno.  His Life Of Krumar EP comes after a string of releases on respected imprints such as an upcoming Soma release, as well as Planet Rhythm and Stockholm LTD, CLERGY .. opening with the driving energy of ‘A1’, blending rampant open hats and surging synth swells to create serious tension.  On the flip, B1 maintains the same force albeit with rougher drum-work whilst B2 steam lines it down to an insistent moment of dance floor delirium.

‘2023’ and ‘Group Dynamics’ present powerful techno cuts designed to be perfect tools for the dancefloor. While ‘Float here forever’ and ‘Ashamed’ are a trip down memory lane, where Temudo is trying to convey a certain mood through a minimal muscled techno, with a sophisticated melancholic aura.
