The term "artist to watch" gets thrown around a lot these days, especially with the volume of new artists entering the scene with unprecedented access to tracks, information, and technology. Often, however, it's a certain attitude that elevates the true heads above the groundswell of an ocean of new artists, and Connor Wall is unquestionably of this ilk.

Inspired from past, present and future experiences - Connor's creative constancy has allowed him to shape his sound into the organic, weighty, and effective tracks you can hear on labels like Treatment, Float, Phorum and WSNWG.  There is a potent, heart-palpitating sonic representation that accompanies anything Connor does, and part of the reason why he is such an exciting prospect leading into the future. His devotion to a particular sound and approach has driven his ability to grow rapidly since entering the scene just a few years ago, and it is this obsession that will continue to allow him to blossom. He’s an artist to watch by all accounts, and whether it’s DJing or producing, he is emerging as an essential feature of Australia.

Co-founder of Stockholm-based collective Hypnotic woods, resident at Underbron and Berlin-based Feieramt, Jessie Granqvist is a defining force in the underground techno scene. For 15 years she has spent nearly every weekend either on the dance floor or behind the decks, shaping her sound and artistic identity through deep immersion of the culture. 

Rooted in the Stockholm underground, Jessie’s style is a hypnotic fusion of trippy, groovy, and meditative sounds, seamlessly woven into a danceable yet deep experience. Her sets are known for their ability to build tension and energy, guiding the dance floor through long-lasting journeys of progression and beauty in sound.

Jessie has played at some of the world’s most renowned clubs and festivals, including Bassiani, Tresor, Radion, FVTVR, and Berlin Atonal 2024, where she performed as part of the Northern Electronics showcase.

Exponent of a sound both intrinsically rugged yet layered to mind-altering effect, the British producer has been dishing out unstoppable slices of hi-velocity techno laced with a signature stripped-back, psychedelic edge. This new RYC podcast doesn’t veer off from such a direction and we’re graced with a two-hour mind trip boasting both bass-driven warehouse impact and an elegantly-woven tapestry of abrasive grooves, leaning by turn towards atmospheric elation and on other occasions pushing in the direction of utter fibrous, steel-coated industrial pound. The result is a wilder than wild ride down a smouldering pit of acid-washed hard hitters. Brutal.
