MARRØN, known for his rhythmic sound driven by his roots, has curated a hypnotizing mix exclusively for Float Records. The mix is released as a limited mix CD containing 31 unreleased tracks by up and coming talents and established artists from the techno landscape. Next to the CD, all tracks are released separately as a VA.  

A word from MARRØN: When I was approached to do a cd mix for Float Records with my complete input from a dj perspective, I was nothing but honored and motivated to create something special. I’ve selectively chosen producers who I feel musically connected to and those who could use a push in their young careers. It’s important for me to be able to give back to the scene as much as it gives me. 

This mix and all the tracks selected are mainly focused on the key elements I wish for in techno, which is having a locked in groove and rhythm throughout the whole duration of time. Pushing for detailed minimalism and pace that keeps you in a driving energetic mood. Punchy variated low ends but never too heavy, a mix that brings the club dancefloor to wherever you are listening to it.

A relentless force behind the decks Berlin-based duo Alvaro and Domenik aka ‘Disguised’ bring a raw, driving energy shaped by their love for early 2000s techno. As residents of HEISSS and familiar faces at RSO and Tresor, their sets balance velocity with emotion, layering percussive pressure with flickers of melody and hypnotic depth.

Beyond the booth, their vision expands through INHERIT, their own imprint launched in 2020 as a platform for forward-thinking techno and a space to nurture both their sound and that of like-minded artists.

Their sound is tightly interwoven with their visual language; intense, rhythmic, and immersive. From producing their own music videos to curating the aesthetic world around each release, Disguised approach techno as a full-spectrum art form, where every detail feeds the narrative.

Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Lasse has been making steady waves in the city’s underground, balancing a no-frills, club-ready sound with a deeper commitment to community and expression. As co-founder of Vulged, an event series rooted in intimacy and integrity, and 1/5 of the Undivulged collective, he’s built his reputation not just behind the decks, but through fostering spaces where freedom and sound collide.

With high-octane releases like Sphinx, The Bush, and Rogue, Lasse has laid down his sonic fingerprint defined by heavyweight low-ends, gritty synthwork, and hypnotic propulsion. Whether self-released or spun across the scene’s more daring dancefloors, his tracks speak in strobe language: direct, punchy, and built for motion.

For #256, he delivers a set that doesn’t ask politely; it commands. Shuffling between pressure-cooked grooves and glinting synth tension, Lasse takes the long route to euphoria, with a few detours through the sweatier corners of the rave.
