Polanski was born in Witten / Ruhrgebiet / Germany. He bought his first turntables in 1997 and had his first gig 1999 at germanys biggest radiostation "1Live" / Treibhaus.
After this he got his first residency at the very well known deep-house club "Trinidat" in Dortmund. Here Polanski played a long side with Rainer Trüby, Harley and Muscle, Frankman, Manuel Tur and many more. From 2002-2012 was Björn Polanski resident-dj at the "Juicy Beats"-Festival. From there he had bookings all over europe: Wien, München and many cities more.
From 2002-2017 Polanski made the weekly radioshow "plattenteller" on CT das Radio. Matthias Tanzmann, Franck Roger, Lars Behrenroth, Manuel Tur, Andre`Hommen, Simon Haehnel (andhim), Larse, Malente and many more were his guests. Besides he had four years the show "Just Deep" on play.fm in vienna.
Since the first day is Björn Polanski a part of the family from IBIZA LIVE RADIO. His show "DEEPMANIA" is bi-weekly wednesdays from 6-7pm with guest dj`like Ian Pooley, Jon Cutler, youandme, Marcus Worgull and many more. Of course, Polanski also plays in various locations, such as "Ibiza Rocks Bar", on Ibiza.
His biggest show was 2018 at WORLD CLUB DOME winter edition in Düsseldorf.
