A searching blend of dub and electronic textures, this week's TANK Mix comes from LA-based artist Maral, who had this to say on her curatorial approach.

"Before I learned how to produce, I would use DJing as a way to convey my emotions and I always fall back into storytelling with my mixes. A gathering of songs, and the feelings that come about from them interacting with each other, a feeling of battling darkness with the small positive moments in life or a song. I always like ending my mixes with a track by Legendary Iranian singer Hayedeh, who is the epitome of holding both sadness and sweetness in her music."
