Sam was unsatisfied and sad
About his life and what he had

A thousand nights he lay awake

Annie lived quite modestly
Worked in a public library
It needed nothing but a book
To get her far away and hooked

She didn’t need anything else
It was enough to feel quite well

It was a warm and sunny day
When they both came across their way
Butterflies playing in the light

All of a sudden eye to eye
It was exciting, it felt right
That was, what’s called love at first sight
