I associate the key of C minor with a deep, navy blue colour. Water is seemingly also blue, but I wanted to add a hint of "pollution" by having a chord in a key that's different than C minor. The pacing of the track was inspired in part by DKC's slower-paced water songs, but also by lo-fi in general (I feel like that genre is very liquid-y, very easy to listen to)
