Flo Phielix and Jeff Smink form a DJ/producer duo on a mission, spreading upbeat and joyful vibes 
with their music.
Driven by a mutual passion for house music, these two best friends, Florian de Ligt 
and Jeffrey Smink, decided to embark on a musical adventure together. 

These nomads in the world of house music refuse to adhere to any single style exclusively. The duo 
describes their music as a fusion of a wide array of house subgenres. Integral to their sound, 
however, is an ever‐present funky and groovy twist. Soul‐pleasing vocals enrich and augment this 
signature sound, adding greatly to the positive energy of their sets. 

Renowned for their funk and vibe, house legends such as Frankie Knuckles and Marshall Jefferson are 
some of the duo’s major inspirations.
Productions and releases on labels such as In The Loop Recordings, City Soul Recordings 
and Diepside Music showcase a lucid and fresh incorporation of these influences. Their track ‘Show 
Me’, which was subsequently remixed by Buurman en Buurman, was released on Braaf Records. Also 
released on this label is their remix of the track ‘Maximum Effort’ by James DX. 

The duo has already made its mark on leading, representative events such as Sundaypeople, Dreamfields Festival
Summerloverz Festival, and Club Eden (Ibiza) to name a few.
