'You're just a sad sack' - Simon Cowell

British indie singer-songwriter Freddie Dickson writes and sings songs of a dark romantic nature. Often armed with his beloved Fender Jaguar and inspired by the likes of Nick Cave and Portishead, Dickson's melancholic melodies weave their way through both his solo work as well his songwriting collaborations with other artists.

In 2018, seeking new inspiration, Freddie decided to move from London to Berlin where he would finalize the recording and production of his second album Blood Street.  Sketching various scenes of modern society and its darker shades, Blood Street received widespread acclaim from local critics and blogs alike.

After Blood Street and all the ongoing confusion in the world, Dickson sought catharsis through his music and looked to calm the anxieties of a life unknown. Themes of uncertainty, loss and self-awareness inspired his upcoming EP Idiot's Dream. Having immersed himself in the vibrant Berlin music scene, Dickson began recording and producing the four songs with his band in various Berlin studios.

Dickson paints a picture of Berlin nightlife and the trials and tribulations of moving to a new city. Late night shots of underground Berlin and filming in an old Stasi Headquarters sets the tone for Dickson’s fascination with Berlin’s underbelly.

Idiot's Dream EP was released on June 4th 2021.

DJ AA is the former Music Consultant and DJ for The Chedi Muscat where they hosted exclusive events at the hotel's 103-metre Long Pool, the lengthiest in the Middle East. AA has traveled to Singapore to DJ at Bacchanalia for F1 Weekend and to F1 Abu Dhabi to play on board a private yacht. In the past AA has performed in several countries including America, UK, India, UAE and Oman. Last summer AA performed at an exclusive private event in Ibiza - Jax Ibiza - that featured house music legends David Morales & Pete tong and has in the past featured the likes of the Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta, Groove Armada, Luciano and many more.

Ben Howard returns with his 4th album, Collections From The Whiteout, produced alongside Aaron Dessner (The National). The foreboding darkness that coated Ben’s second record I Forget Where We Were and thinly veiled its follow up Noonday Dream, isn’t so evident on Collections. These are songs written from headlines scanned, or news stories scrolled past, providing inspiration for a selection of vivid narrative snapshots – the death of amateur sailor Donald Crowhurst (Crowhurst’s Meme); Russian fraudster Anna Sorokin (Sorry Kid); the man who stole and crashed a plane in Seattle (The Strange Last Flight Of Richard Russell); and the dismembered body a friend of his father found in a suitcase floating along the Thames (Finders Keepers). Alongside them, the personal anecdotes from the same scattered period living between Paris, Devon and Spain. Yussef Dayes features, as does Kate Stables (This Is The Kit), James Krivchenia (Big Thief), Kyle Keegan (Hiss Golden Messenger), and Dessner. Thomas Bartlett, St. Vincent’s go-to pianist, and Rob Moose, a long-standing arranger of strings for Bon Iver, are also present. Long-term guitarist to Ben’s band, Mickey Smith (A Blaze of Feather), remains a reassuring constant. It’s a sonic adventure that continues this nagging suggestion that Ben is one of the UK’s most inventive and naturally talented songwriters. CFTW is his latest opus, and arguably his most fully realised to date.
