
	
In the true spirit of his open format heroes such as DJ AM, Cosmo Baker, and Z-Trip, Fugi (real name Johnathan Richards) is the type of DJ who isn't afraid to play Al Green, Johnny Cash, and Camp Lo in the same night. Once known as a heavyweight in the Augusta, GA Dubstep/Grime circuit, Fugi has become known around town as a 'DJ's DJ', playing all genres in a night and topping it off with cut n' scratch.

Fugi has been involved as a DJ, musician and promoter in Augusta, GA since 2001. Before DJing in bars/clubs he was the scratch DJ and samplist for the alternative metal band Twice Removed. During his time with Twice Removed, he was nominated for a Lokal Loudness Award. (www.LokalLoudness.com) DJ Fugi has been a regular performer with FRESHSOUNDS, a weekly Augusta, GA based EDM/Open Format showcase.
He has shared the stage with notable Regional and National artists such as Organic, Variant, and Mean Mug (1200 Hustle), and International artists Must Die and Cereal Killaz. He recently opened for Bubba Sparxxx during his 2014 US Tour and was featured on HD 98.3 (Beasley Broadcasting)Friday Night Megamix.
