I have been making this track for almost a month, a little bit every day. Time is of the essence lately. It all started with the piano sample chopped, diced and cooked with the MPC. The bass is made also with the MPC, it was such a delight making it, really starting to feel the MPC as an instrument. The trumpets were made in FL studio and the guitar parts with the old trusted guitar. I hope you enjoy it, peace out!

The track originally produced in 2015 for one of my courses, when studying  Audio Engineering at the "Deutsche Pop Akademie" in Hamburg.
My good friend and artist called Dex wrote the lyrics and sang the vocals.
I produced the instrumental and we worked together on the vocal production.

The track was chosen as the winner-song for the competition "Campus Compilation 2016". At that time I mixed the Song and it got mastered by somebody else for the purpose of the Campus Compilation CD.

Now I felt like it was time to do a Remastering and mixed the song again.
I would love to hear your feedback. You can still listen to the old Version from 2016 on Spotify. I hope you enjoy the new Version "Remastered 2019".

When time isn`t short, I like to produce songs with orchestral elements. Already as a child, I was close to the music, and in my youth, I produced music with “Cubase SE”. At that time I was still passionate about playing the piano. As a young adult, among other things, I was a pianist in an improvisation theater. The closeness to music still helps me today in my work as a mastering engineer. However, I rarely get to produce. Mastering music is what I like most, and for a number of years, I haven't done anything else in the musical field. Lately, I am more enthusiastic about my own music again and am happy about every more long episode of time in my life, where I can focus on creating some new songs.
