The story about this track is simple -- made a drum track for a friend, but it got rejected ("too harsh"). Self confidence went to the bottom, and the voices in my head were insisting to produce something extra harsh. Music indeed is a good therapy. Anyway, this all wouldn't have happened if I just went to the zoo as originally planned for that day.

Fun fact: I have been owning a Microkorg for some 15 years, and this was literally the first time I had used its inbuilt vocoder. It even shipped with a swan neck microphone; it sounds exactly as terrible as it looks (and the more I keep staring at it, the more it resembles the weapon used for colonoscopy).

Best described as eclectic, my style is a soothing mix mirroring my personality: mostly mellow with the occasional outburst. Although I have a background in classical piano I have always loved to create and improvise.  Since early childhood I have been trying to duplicate on the piano what I hear in my head.  Now I see how formal studies and improvisation fit together perfectly. I hope to always keep growing and learning, reflecting the beauty of Christ in all my endeavors. There is so much talent and variety here, and most of the people are pretty cool too. I love being part of this community. Listening to your music and being heard in return is enough.

Still reading? OK I'm gonna muse a bit. It's hard to fully convey how much this forum has meant to me. There are people I've never met that feel very much like old friends -- and in a very real way they are.
If I follow someone I make every effort to listen to and support their efforts. It's certainly not a transactional relationship but I do tend to limit my follows to people who engage in mutual listening and engagement.

But wait, there's more!  I embrace, celebrate, and revere the artistic creations that come from the heart regardless of skill level.  But, forgive me, but, goddammit there's too much production of soulless, empty same old shit music out there. I can't hang with downloaded shutterstock vocals, banal boy/girl BS lyrics, and recreations of the sounds that have already been done to death for years. Still with me? OK better to distill my relationships than engage in faux bonhomie.  And if you get what I mean more power to you.
