Shaun Moses is a name that one’s going to be seeing a lot more of. Hailing from Goa (India), the techno producer and DJ crafts his unique style of dark and pulsating techno, while still maintaining a raw aural aesthetic. Everything he has dropped so far is steeped in four by four goodness, with his signature meaty bass riffs and minimal, yet complex, structures. 

During his DJ sets, he showcases an explosive snapshot if his capabilities, bursting at the seams with an atmospheric synth haze, rolling percussive hits and deep powerful bass lines. Over the past few years, Shaun has performed at some of the best stages and venues across India while releasing on many popular international labels. 

He joins the Octopus Warehouse family with his latest release "Really Psychotic."

Parabel continues their steady release schedule of classy contemporary cuts that have previously included artists such as Patrik Skoog, Petter B, Jesper Dahlbäck aka The Persuader, and Nima khak amongst others.

The eleventh release in their impressive catalogue sees another collaboration called Way Of The Wild between Berlin based American Dustin Zahn, and Swedish techno icon Joel Mull, that follows on from their 2010 Enemy Records EP.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the third track “Morning Glade” that combines a dub influenced form with rich textures and a lush, dreamy atmosphere. Stripped back and tough, it’s also a dancefloor gem… providing a sonic surprise for the warm up set, a break down tool for a peak time set, or those twilight waking hours to wind down, proving its multi-faceted function, ready for any occasion.

KUSP joins Rekids Special Projects with the rumbling ‘Freedom Of Fear EP’ this January.

The KUSP project, formed of two friends rekindling their love for electronic music, has seen the duo release on the likes of Suara, We Are The Brave, and Odd Recordings since 2018, picking up heavy support from the likes of Alan Fitzpatrick, Charlotte De Witte, Adam Beyer, and of course Radio Slave along the way.

Across ‘Freedom of Fear’, KUSP display their knack for crafting high intensity, uncompromising techno, perfectly fitting the criteria for the heavier Rekids sister label. Florian Meindl is a multi-talented and multi-faceted artist, who is renowned for his technical
prowess.
Producing for over fourteen years, Florian has become known for his deep, grooving powerful
techno. His productions are characterised by his love of analog, which represent his true signature
sound.
2006 saw the inception of Florian’s label FLASH Recordings. The label showcases Florian’s musical
vision, reflects his taste and gives him tracks for his DJ Mixes. A platform for artists that Florian
likes, FLASH has had over 130 releases already including tracks from Heron, Electric Rescue, Jamie
Anderson, Alignment, Hans Bouffmyhre & Avgusto.
In May 2015 Florian released his second solo album ‘Collide’ to critical acclaim. The album was
clearly influenced by Florian’s transition from producing almost entirely digitally for thirteen years
to recording mainly analog jamming sessions and editing the end results after on the computer. The
technical aspect is integral to Florian’s musical journey that he takes the listener on. His talent lies
in enabling the machines to speak and groove, to connect with them and create sounds and
patterns.
In addition to solo releases and numerous collaborations with international artists, and remixing the
likes of Hot Chip & Royksopp, Florian is busy with his sound design brand Riemann Kollektion and
Riemann Modular which is his new studio gear company specializing in Eurorack Modules.
As a DJ, live performer, studio producer and sound designer, Florian has over the years established
an impressive producing base for himself in his Berlin based Riverside Studio complex with an
exciting hardware set up including Modular Systems, an analog mixing desk as well as classic
machines like Roland 909.
After fourteen years of international performances and production, Florian has developed a special
connection with his analog equipment, letting them speak for him in music where words just aren’t
possible. His third album will be released in February 2017 in combination with a worldwide full
analog live act tour.
