This episode is based on inspiration that Sceptical C got after visiting club PIP in the Hague, at the event BANG! of Remy Unger.

As an Artist, whom grew from the beginnings of DJ'ing with vinyl in the 90's, he loves to blend so many genres together, as long as it consists elements of driving frequencies, telling his sincere musical story.

The sounds that are transmitted while behind the decks, either as Sceptical C or Shaman RaHis, consist of frequency and indigenous based sounds which he often blends with Techno, Melodic Techno, Afro house, House, Tech House, but most definitely tracks containing healing and regenerating frequencies and so much more. The musical story consist of a drive that will make the dance floor move because of the frequencies being broadcasted from the hearth, through the available channels blended together live, on the fly, unpredicted and no preselected tracks.

Whenever or where ever you encounter Shaman RaHis, all of his musical frequential magic, will contain percussive vibes that are received in such a way by the audience, that it will make them get in such a state of happiness that will make them keep their bodies moving with maximum enjoyment, forgetting their day to day life, while healing themselves on the dance floor. Especially when the audience opens up to receive the healing frequencies heard and felt, transferred via the sound system.

Let´s travel back in time again. I hope you like these excursions to the past. September 1st 2014. Monday, Ibiza. Amnesia. Cocoon. That should tell you basically all you need to know. It is nice to use these times to travel back a little and remember the amazing summers we had, especially on the white isle of Ibiza. Cocoon always played a big part of that, the first time I played at Amnesia was in 1999, which was the first (pre) season for Cocoon hosted by Sven Väth, who essentially paved the way for techno on the island, which was unheard of really before that time. Those gigs at Amnesia were always very special for me, I loved the club and the DJ booth, the light jockey, who never spoke one word of English and me no Spanish, but we were always super happy to see each other and work together. I hope one day I will be able to return to that DJ booth and experience all that again. This set is a little longer than 3 hours, today you get the second hour and if you wanna have the full set without me talking, you might wanna check my Mixcloud Select channel for more. Florian Meindl is a multi-talented and multi-faceted artist, who is renowned for his technical
prowess.
Producing for over fourteen years, Florian has become known for his deep, grooving powerful
techno. His productions are characterised by his love of analog, which represent his true signature
sound.
2006 saw the inception of Florian’s label FLASH Recordings. The label showcases Florian’s musical
vision, reflects his taste and gives him tracks for his DJ Mixes. A platform for artists that Florian
likes, FLASH has had over 130 releases already including tracks from Heron, Electric Rescue, Jamie
Anderson, Alignment, Hans Bouffmyhre & Avgusto.
In May 2015 Florian released his second solo album ‘Collide’ to critical acclaim. The album was
clearly influenced by Florian’s transition from producing almost entirely digitally for thirteen years
to recording mainly analog jamming sessions and editing the end results after on the computer. The
technical aspect is integral to Florian’s musical journey that he takes the listener on. His talent lies
in enabling the machines to speak and groove, to connect with them and create sounds and
patterns.
In addition to solo releases and numerous collaborations with international artists, and remixing the
likes of Hot Chip & Royksopp, Florian is busy with his sound design brand Riemann Kollektion and
Riemann Modular which is his new studio gear company specializing in Eurorack Modules.
As a DJ, live performer, studio producer and sound designer, Florian has over the years established
an impressive producing base for himself in his Berlin based Riverside Studio complex with an
exciting hardware set up including Modular Systems, an analog mixing desk as well as classic
machines like Roland 909.
After fourteen years of international performances and production, Florian has developed a special
connection with his analog equipment, letting them speak for him in music where words just aren’t
possible. His third album will be released in February 2017 in combination with a worldwide full
analog live act tour.
