Over his short but glittering career so far, Claptone has delivered no less than four summer anthems to soundtrack Ibiza and the festival season. Carl Cox is an industry figurehead whos legacy in music includes his iconic label Intec, which he runs with friend and business partner Jon Rundell, and the new release is a label debut from Irish producer Mark Greene.

Mark Greene has been building up his reputation following releases on Spektres Respekt, Steve Mulders Orange, Oscar Aguileras HE-ART, A.Pauls Naked Lunch and Hollens Prospect.

Already a popular DJ on the Irish club scene playing regular gigs in Dublin and other parts of the country, the success of his productions has lead to international gigs playing in places like Germany, Austria, Holland, Lithuania and Poland.

With a hard hitting style influenced by the likes of Dave Clarke, The Advent and Richie Hawtin, this release showcases what he is all about and why he has caught the attention of Carl Cox.

First on the release is All Said & Done which has a rolling groove, rumbling bassline and dark atmosphere. With a punishing intensity and the menacing sound of epic pads, the track's female vocal stabs cut through the building intensity to release the pressure with uplifting bursts. Fast and furious, this is peak time techno that takes no prisoners.

Track two What's Good? is on the same vibe as the first but with hints of acid and prominent clap rhythms it takes things up a gear. Mechanical hi-hats and ominous synths make this robust sounding cut have a huge presence on a dance floor. Engulfing all who hear it, this is a peak time techno masterpiece which every DJ needs in their arsenal.

Kicking off with the instantly memorable title track ‘No Regrets’, BEC lets the groove take center stage while a soothing yet eery female vocal repeatedly lures its prey to an unsuspecting climax. ‘Are You Looking’ follows with a brutal low end that balances perfectly with wildly hypnotic rave sounds and dashes of wicked sonics creating a profound journey into the sonic ether. Taking a slightly similar approach but committing to a more melodic and emotional trip, 'Play Drum' takes us into euphoric territories reminiscent of early classics. Soma label heads Slam curate a specially designed package of tracks to finalise their Archive Edit project that sees them delve deep into Techno’s past to bring some of the genre’s best tracks into the modern age. The Archive Edit project started as a way for Slam to showcase and share the many different edits that had made their way into their DJ sets over the last few years. The pairing of Stuart McMillan & Orde Meikle have both raided their extensive collections, picking out tracks that have defined countless sets over their career. Tracks from luminaries such as Nitzer Ebb, Thomas P Heckmann (as Silent Breed), Damon Wild & Terrence Fixmer have been re-edited alongside some of Slam’s own unreleased material, showcasing the duo’s current sound; one that constantly naturally evolves, matures and demonstrates why the duo have been at the forefront of the global scene since its inception.

“We resurrect nine cuts from our archive collective collections for your listening and spinning pleasure. Some are original material, some are live re-edits, some are well-known, others are not! They all have one thing in common, they all attempt to unashamedly destroy dancefloors, and thus featured heavily, (usually toward the end of our DJ sets) in the last year or so well known”. Now we share them with you!"

Slam open the album with an absolute monster track in the form of their rework of the legendary Nitzer Ebb’s ‘Join In The Chant’. The anthemic EBM/post-punk infused original is given a thrashing overhaul from the duo marking one of the standout tracks of this collection.  A special live rework of fan favourite ‘Scorpion’ drops before the previously unreleased ‘Memoriam’ delivers on a more emotive tip. Firing back into the edits is Thomas P Heckmann’s seminal ‘Sync In’, under his Silent Breed Moniker which is a fast-paced, Neo-Trance affair Slam then drop the manic ‘1001’ which takes the BPM stratospheric. DK8’s, Murder Was The Bass is up next and given a 2019 update as the duo's edit snatches up all the most perfect elements of the track leading nicely into a rework of French EBM legend Terence Fixmer’s ‘Body Pressure’ - driving through with its twisted beats and vocals. Another special live edit of the first Archive Edit release, Damon Wild’s Rotary makes an appearance as the album closes out with the rave infected, rework of the Hertz classic ‘Recreate’

Florian Meindl is a multi-talented and multi-faceted artist, who is renowned for his technical
prowess.
Producing for over fourteen years, Florian has become known for his deep, grooving powerful
techno. His productions are characterised by his love of analog, which represent his true signature
sound.
2006 saw the inception of Florian’s label FLASH Recordings. The label showcases Florian’s musical
vision, reflects his taste and gives him tracks for his DJ Mixes. A platform for artists that Florian
likes, FLASH has had over 130 releases already including tracks from Heron, Electric Rescue, Jamie
Anderson, Alignment, Hans Bouffmyhre & Avgusto.
In May 2015 Florian released his second solo album ‘Collide’ to critical acclaim. The album was
clearly influenced by Florian’s transition from producing almost entirely digitally for thirteen years
to recording mainly analog jamming sessions and editing the end results after on the computer. The
technical aspect is integral to Florian’s musical journey that he takes the listener on. His talent lies
in enabling the machines to speak and groove, to connect with them and create sounds and
patterns.
In addition to solo releases and numerous collaborations with international artists, and remixing the
likes of Hot Chip & Royksopp, Florian is busy with his sound design brand Riemann Kollektion and
Riemann Modular which is his new studio gear company specializing in Eurorack Modules.
As a DJ, live performer, studio producer and sound designer, Florian has over the years established
an impressive producing base for himself in his Berlin based Riverside Studio complex with an
exciting hardware set up including Modular Systems, an analog mixing desk as well as classic
machines like Roland 909.
After fourteen years of international performances and production, Florian has developed a special
connection with his analog equipment, letting them speak for him in music where words just aren’t
possible. His third album will be released in February 2017 in combination with a worldwide full
analog live act tour.
