"Verloren in den Tiefen der Nacht"

Schon als Kind war ich fasziniert von Klängen und Rhythmen. Das Ticken einer Uhr, das Rauschen des Windes – jedes Geräusch hatte für mich eine eigene Bedeutung. Als ich dann das erste Mal Techno hörte, war es, als würde eine Tür zu einer neuen Welt aufgestoßen.
Die pulsierenden Basslines, die dunklen Atmosphären und die hypnotischen Melodien zogen mich in ihren Bann. In der Musik fand ich einen Ort, an dem ich mich selbst verlieren und gleichzeitig finden konnte. Als Teenager verbrachte ich unzählige Stunden in dunklen Clubs, tanzte bis zum Morgengrauen und ließ mich von den DJs mitreißen.
Doch oft fehlte mir iwie das gewisse etwas..… Eine Art Unvollständigkeit?
Die Musik war zwar gut, aber sie berührte mich nicht auf einer tieferen Ebene. Ich sehnte mich nach Klängen, die meine Seele zum Vibrieren brachten, nach einer Musik, die meine persönlichen Erfahrungen widerspiegelte. Aus dieser Sehnsucht heraus begann ich, meine eigenen Tracks zu produzieren. Anfangs war es nur ein Hobby, doch schnell wurde es zu meiner Leidenschaft. Ich experimentierte mit verschiedenen Sounds und Stilen, bis ich meinen eigene einzigartigen Sound gefunden hatte. Meine Musik ist eine Mischung aus düsteren, atmosphärischen Klängen und treibenden Rhythmen, die sowohl vertraut als auch
überraschend ist. In meinen Sets versuche ich, eine emotionale Reise zu erschaffen, die die Zuhörern mitnimmt auf eine Reise durch meine innere Welt. Ich möchte, dass sie sich in meiner
Musik verlieren und für einen Moment alle Sorgen vergessen. Meine Musik ist einn piegel meiner Seele – sie ist mal melancholisch, mal euphorisch, mal düster und hoffnungsvoll.
Als DJ sehe ich mich nicht nur als Musikmacher, sondern auch als Geschichtenerzähler. Mit jedem Track erzähle ich eine andere Geschichte, eine andere Emotion. Ich möchte, dass die Menschen meine Leidenschaft spüren und sich von meiner Musik inspirieren lassen.

Florian Meindl is a multi-talented and multi-faceted artist, who is renowned for his technical
prowess.
Producing for over fourteen years, Florian has become known for his deep, grooving powerful
techno. His productions are characterised by his love of analog, which represent his true signature
sound.
2006 saw the inception of Florian’s label FLASH Recordings. The label showcases Florian’s musical
vision, reflects his taste and gives him tracks for his DJ Mixes. A platform for artists that Florian
likes, FLASH has had over 130 releases already including tracks from Heron, Electric Rescue, Jamie
Anderson, Alignment, Hans Bouffmyhre & Avgusto.
In May 2015 Florian released his second solo album ‘Collide’ to critical acclaim. The album was
clearly influenced by Florian’s transition from producing almost entirely digitally for thirteen years
to recording mainly analog jamming sessions and editing the end results after on the computer. The
technical aspect is integral to Florian’s musical journey that he takes the listener on. His talent lies
in enabling the machines to speak and groove, to connect with them and create sounds and
patterns.
In addition to solo releases and numerous collaborations with international artists, and remixing the
likes of Hot Chip & Royksopp, Florian is busy with his sound design brand Riemann Kollektion and
Riemann Modular which is his new studio gear company specializing in Eurorack Modules.
As a DJ, live performer, studio producer and sound designer, Florian has over the years established
an impressive producing base for himself in his Berlin based Riverside Studio complex with an
exciting hardware set up including Modular Systems, an analog mixing desk as well as classic
machines like Roland 909.
After fourteen years of international performances and production, Florian has developed a special
connection with his analog equipment, letting them speak for him in music where words just aren’t
possible. His third album will be released in February 2017 in combination with a worldwide full
analog live act tour.

Originally from Canberra and now based in Melbourne, Luca, known as Everest, embarked on his DJ journey in 2010, inspired by a live performance by The Aston Shuffle. Quickly making his mark, Everest secured residencies at top Canberra venues like Meche, North Bar, Trinity Bar, and Mr. Wolf, and made appearances at notable events including the Spring Carnival music festival. His talent also led to multiple radio features on stations such as Raw FM, FM 104.7, and UCFM.

Since relocating to Sydney and ultimately Melbourne, Everest has played at renowned venues and events including Chinese Laundry, Circus Bar, The Burdekin Hotel, New Guernica, Killing Time and Sweethearts Rooftop, as well as having multiple guest appearances on Kiss FM, Bondi Radio, and Bondi Beach Radio. His musical influences span across house and all its subgenres, disco, techno and breaks, drawing inspiration from artists like Noir, Maceo Plex, Roland Clark, Guy J, and Floorplan.

Throughout his career, Everest has supported an impressive roster of international and Australian acts, including but not limited to:

Oliver Huntemann, Amine Edge & Dance, MK, Robosonic, Nora En Pure, Bart Skils, Alberto Ruiz, Will Clarke, Kill Frenzy, Peking Duk, Loco & Jam, Marco Faraone, Rufus, Golden Features, and Motez.
