Recently planted in the heart of the European scene, US ­born Oshana, has stacked up a list of accomplishments in the last three years. Following popular releases on highly respected labels Brouqade, Body Parts and Rue De Plaisance, she steps up to deliver the first blow for Partisan, a fresh, new imprint, offering a natural fit for her unique style. An innovative dancefloor focus binds together the three tracks on the Arcadia EP, with each piece bringing its own identity. Living up to its namesake, “Accelerator” opens the EP with a fast­paced, forward­thinking approach. Warm, melodic tones resonate throughout“Day 21”, while “Arcadia” erupts with mind ­bending synths and noticeable grit.  Meanwhile, the constant throughout the EP is a razor­ sharp focus on the percussion. All in all, it's a strong, step forward for Oshana and the perfect start to Partisan, a label that promises so much for the future.

"After all these Various Artist EP’s i wanted to focus on one artist at a time that would allow them to really show a spectrum as broad as possible.

How people consume music changed in last 30 years. When i got into music in the first place it was all about the album. The full package with cover, artwork, side notes. I want to bring back that feeling in terms of programming, artwork and listening pleasure. Following the tradition of my favourite rap LP’s the tracks are all connected with skits and interludes for a full listening experience. It’s dance floor material, but the LP feel of it makes it great for home listening as well.

I am really happy to kickstart this with Fabe. I got introduced to him by a friend a few years ago and it´s crazy how this guys turns up from track to track. I think this is his strongest release so far as he really shows what he is capable of in terms of style. Super happy to have him onboard as he is one of loveliest guys around as well. Salut Fabe !!! Exclusive: Cap - Live from Mioritmic Festival 2017

It is with great pleasure we bring you one of our own to the Toi.Toi.Mix Series: Herodot. 

This set was recorded at the Lion & Lamb in London in December 2017 at Toi.Toi’s monthly outing there.  
This is a 2hrs extract of a 4.5hrs set. 

The Lion & Lamb is London’s CDV equivalent. It is a spot which has become our little hub.  The Pub is equipped with the only Martin Audio soundystem - fitted by Martin Audio - outside of Fabric, a Rane Rotary Mixer carved on wood, decks and Cdjs, it has become a sonic haven for audiophiles. 

This event marked the start of Toi.Toi.’s monthly residency there in collaboration with L&L. Other residencies include Craig Richards’ on Sundays as well as showcasing local and international talent week in week out.

Being devoted to the underground movement, Raha is the rare breed of people acting as a cultural catalyst around the world; with a street dancing background, Raha started in 2008 his dj carrer in Japan. A formed dancer turned dj and passionate about Romanian minimal culture.

He gave the scene of Japan a big shock and as well the Romanian scene with his invitations like RPR crew artists, Rhadoo and Petre Inspirescu to Japan for his project “Beat In Me” that has grown into one of Tokyo’s most successful parties, one of the very few that continues to stay faithful to the underground.

His work always focuses on the groove and the dancefloor, which has earned him a huge following of both casual listeners, as well as real clubbers with highly trained ears and senses.

Raha is certainly one of the few key global artists in Japan worth keeping a sharp eye on from this point forward. Romanian crowd had the privilege to listen to his music in Club Eden, Guesthouse, 3 Smoked Olives festival, Gazette 12y anniversary this month and he was also confirmed in the magical Waha Festival this summer.

We have the honest privilege to present to you a very special set, a 4 hours recording of the opening set before Rhadoo in the “Beat In Me” event from Tokyo on the 10th of February earlier this year, marking also Raha’s birthday.
