Flo/so @ Trans Musicales 2021 (DJ Set)

This remix was born in Trempo's studios in Nantes and part of S/lash, a European program during which Gisèle Pape and Flo/so met and on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of Gisèle's album "Caillou".

Extending the onirism of the track, this techno and percussive production by Flo/so, with dense and hypnotic basses, lets escape the voice and the poetic lyrics of Gisèle Pape, tense synths and arpeggiators.

Gisèle Pape - Le chant des pistes (Flo/so Remix)

After his strong recent debut release ‘Fear’ made track of the week by BBC Radio Introducing (UK), French producer and drummer Flo/so returns with his new single ‘You’.

The song mixes techno beats, heavy pulsating bass and hooky synths with Florian’s ethereal vocals, tackling the subject of human connection and the fear of not being able to feel each other again.

This second single was aslo produced with the help of Christopher Lockington, with whom Florian performed in the critically acclaimed band Deafkid. Christopher also took care of the mixing and mastering.

Try (Radio Edit)

Flo/so is the solo project from producer and instrumentalist Florian Sauvaire, created in 2020.

Back in his country after 11 years spent in London, the Frenchman mixes hypnotic beats with ethereal vocals, in percussive compositions blending pop and electronic genres (techno, synthwave).

Fascinated by the warehouse party scene in the UK, Florian has one goal in mind, make the audience dance in the tradition of his predecessors Jamie XX, John Hopkins and Caribou.
