Brynjolfur's 'Sintético' promises a joyful revival of summer dancefloors. Inspired by the music of Southern Europe in the late 80s and early 90s, the EP draws on a range of genres from italo to dream house to the nascent forms of progressive and trance. The four-track EP, radiates a warm, sun-drenched vibe, is out May 12th.

With “Is This Love Enough (in Angoulême)”, a track which sounds like an anthem to the kitsch and has-been clubs of our provinces, he sets a new statement in his artistic direction. A true ode to Angoulême, rather famous for its comic book festival, Marco declares the city the new capital of Italo Disco, as a snub to the global craze around a genre that can only be copied.

Somewhere between nostalgia and modernity, Marco combines old school drum machines, devastating basslines, airy synths, saturated guitar and uninhibited pop chorus, while having fun with clichés. A clever blend of yesteryear atmospheres and current popular music, it's without a doubt in these stereotypes that the most beautiful Italian bangers are forged !

Following two strong debut releases in 2020 both supported by BBC Radio Introducing and numerous blogs across UK, France and Canada, French producer and drummer Flo/so returns with his new single Try.

The dark and threatening song mixes elements from the techno, new wave and soundtrack genres, whilst the lyrics tackle life’s challenges such as trying to find happiness, love or success, but also the nostalgia and recollection of the brighter days.

Try (Radio Edit)

Flo/so is the solo project from producer and instrumentalist Florian Sauvaire, created in 2020.

Back in his country after 11 years spent in London, the Frenchman mixes hypnotic beats with ethereal vocals, in percussive compositions blending pop and electronic genres (techno, synthwave).

Fascinated by the warehouse party scene in the UK, Florian has one goal in mind, make the audience dance in the tradition of his predecessors Jamie XX, John Hopkins and Caribou.
